Great PBP DeadFingers. I would have joined you had BigSoccer not booted me out every time. Busy little website on those CLS days. Must have been a big game for Real Madrid or something. ;)

Anyone watch the game? How did Deisler do? Kovac and Demichelis together at CB? Guerrero sounds like he was nearly in a position to score just before the whistle.

I did watch the game on FCB Champions, great quality well worth it. Deisler was OK although he needs more time to settle again in the mechanism, I liked Kovac and Demichelis, they played good together, and Guerrero was great again, he had couple of chances and some beautiful touches on the ball, Ballack played weel too, Makkay's gol was nice but after that he disappeared

Kufour had a bad game, he made some crucial mistakes that are not acceptable. One of them became a chance for Ajax to score :( . Maybe he was not determined enough, looked a bit lazy to me. :p

I'm surprised that magath brought in all attacking midfielders on the 2nd half

Deisler played behind 2 strikers with Schweinsteiger on the right, zeroberto on the left and Ballack in the usual DM.

    They're all attacking midfielders

Btw, Tobias Rau could be included in the 11 lineup against Stuttgart, he played well in this match.

Unfortunately students kept interrupting me at the Reference desk. Damn them. Well it is almost the end of the semester and all these google-heads realize none of their research is on the web and then they want me to explain, in the shortest period of time, how to use a library catalog and a journal index. This is stuff I learned in elementary school. So my PBP was below par this week Then again I think I heard crickets chirping around the board.
