I've seen enough to know he's not in the same class as C. Ronaldo. I see B. Munchen games almost every week because that's the only ********ing games they show when they play Bundesliga. To say Karimi can compete with C. Ronaldo show's you don't really see C. Ronaldo play. Or you don't know *******. Or both.

if you look at my posts in this group D forum i ve said ronaldo is the best player in this groupe, but the meaning of this thread is not about who s the better player...its about the iran vs portugal game where the both teams best players will clash!!

But if that's Iran's best player then there won't be any "clash of titans" just a 90 minute C. Ronaldo highlight show.

the only way to end this argument is stop writing its that simple.

ronaldo and karimi are talented players i just think ronaldo can takeover a game not karimi.

to say it will be a highlight show is 2 much i think, portugal is a very stronger team on paper but you cant count on that in a world cup,the ball is round and everything can happen..i guess we just have to wait and see...but i think this is the best group to watch this summer..

one thing all three nations have forgot is angola...they may shock every1

why is it that everytime i see something related to Karimi someone has to post the picture of 6 guys taking on him? If anything that just shows how poor strategy wise that team is(whoever it is) for sending 6 players to cover one and leave the rest open....just like in elementary school...

i know very little of him...but that picture instead of impressing me more just shows me how mediocre team he was facing is...

I agree. I've seen some of his Bundasliga games and he is a very good player on his day, but very inconsistent too.

If you serioulsy think Portugal underestimated the competition in WC 2002, then all I have to say is Portugal (coaches and players) is a far worse footballing nation then they are given credit for. No coach or player in the modern game has any business underestimating the competition at the WC level. If you think Portugal did not scout their competition in 2002, then I have a bridge in France I can sell you. LOL!

You may be right, but popular wisdom tells us otherwise, and the coach paid for it by losing his job. Personally, I do believe it, in particular in the match vs USA.
