BTW, it seems that Cris-Lovren is working well now so I probably would not buy Diakhaté from that team thats loaning him out.

I too am happy with how the game went. We showed we really have nothing to fear from the Madrid side as long as we play organized and disciplined football. The skill is there and it will shine through as long as we keep the silly mistakes to a minimum. Such a cool finish from Gomis, he is having a great year.

Yea I noticed, and I'm not suprised by his reaction. That's why he got the cheer that he did when he stepped on the pitch. I know I still always wish him well. Hopefully he got that out of his system, and wont be scoring in the second leg.

Cris is getting old. I see no reason not to keep Diakhate as long as the price is reasonable.

Come on... Madrid will be favorites, with a risk that Lyon does it again... A risk is all.

It will be a shocking result if Lyon gets past Real again.

Yeah I can see Lyon cracking and folding under the immense pressure of the Bernabéu atmosphere. Lyon just keeps getting weaker every year and the team that won 7 straight titles is gone. They stay in the race because they still have the highest budget in L1.

I guess we're just using this thread for the second leg.

I hear this is the lineup vs Madrid:

Lloris – Réveillère, Cris, Lovren, Cissokho – Toulalan, Källström – Briand, Gourcuff, Delgado – Lisandro

Good stuff if Cris and Cissokho are fit.

    ALLEZ L'OL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

unlucky, but after the torment you have given madrid over the last few years, i think lyon is now a very very populer team accross europe. if benzema hadnt got a lucky chance in the last leg you could have aproached this one differently. sadly, it wasnt to be. see you next year im sure.

The odds were always stacked against you. No shame in losing to the special one.
