I'd be interested to know how many people put a lot of study shall we say into their picks vs those that do it in a matter of seconds. I'm definitely in the latter category. I just go with a gut feeling.
I check to see if I recognize the club first, then compare the countries. It took me all of about 1 minute to finish my predictions.
The first game I looked up how the teams have done the last couple years, checked their coefficients, etc. and got 5 out of 12 right. It took me about 20 minutes to make my picks. The second game, I just put down a win for the home team for every game except Liverpool and got 9 out of 12 right. It took me about 40 seconds and it only took that long because I didn't want to put 1-0 for every game.
