Brown has several years of experience in MLS, and I believe he scored a Goal of the Year candidate last season with Real Salt Lake, and he bagged 5 goals for RSL in 22 matches (12 starts). He should be a nice acquisition up front for the Timbers. Also, I was disappointed to learn that midfielder Luke Kreamalmeyer was traded in December to the Charlestown Battery. He was the Timbers' best player in 2006 and was a valuable contributor in 2007, so I'm sad to see him go. Thoughts on Portland's recent player comings and goings?
