Just hearsay right now; but it matches the tendency that: a) The fans that were driven away because of the ownership haven't come back. b) The results are not there even with a roster/coaching/FO overhaul and the full support of the league. c) They're not proving to any potential buyer that there is a market for this second LA team. d) It might be easier to shut down entirely next season and start a franchise from scratch after 2015, if the stadium situation is sorted out.
Okay, seriously. You yourself admit this is hearsay, really just what you seem to think for some reason, why bother even posting it? No, it's not easier to "just shut down." What sort of insider info do you have that says they don't have a buyer lined up but are waiting to announce until everything is worked out?
Sorry, but it's a possibility that I think everyone here should keep in mind. You know how many empty promises have been made in the past regarding this team.. I had a hard time with the information as well so I'm trying to process it as best as I can. I really hope we find an owner, but I'm looking at the landscape and it looks bleak!
I've read & heard all sorts of rumors about this club's future. I think we should start worrying if we don't hear anything by the end of the summer.
I dont know Sodi, brand new team, new owners, new name is going to be hard for me to adopt the team when I dont even live in that area anymore. like i have mention I will be moving to Denver and most likely get crapids season tickets. But I will always be a chivas USA fan.
