No, I noticed after posting this comment that I repeated myself...

It is interesting that you see a lot of depth in DC's strikers. Most of us supporters think that is where we are weakest... We have some new found depth in defense with Burch and McTavish. Considering both sides strong defensive performances as of late this game could go either way. Regardless, it should be a great match, and like you have alluded to, an important one. I just wish your tool box home wasn't on the other side of the country, otherwise we'd bring the noise.

    VAMOS UNITED!

I wasn't referring to repeating yourself.

It's just that since you appeared on BigSoccer a month and a half ago, you've been going around from team forum to team forum, posting these bizarre messages, supportive yet devoid of much team-specific content. Team A will be playing Team B on the coming weekend, and you'll appear in the forum for Team A posting something encouraging about beating Team B, and on the same day appear in the forum for Team B posting something encouraging about beating Team A. It's almost like some sort of automated script from the MLS league offices, intended to "pump up enthusiasm" artificially.

This will be a great game. Too bad it had to go up against the opening of the NFL. without the start of football i could see the game getting decent ratings.

I think he was reffering to TV ratings because they are two of the best teams in the NFL: Indianapolis Colts vs New Orleans Saints. Most NFL followeres in LA watch any football game they can since we do not have a team.

Yeah, if this weren't a Chivas game, there's no way I'd watch it. I'm guessing 99% of the sports fans in America are drooling at the thought of the NFL kick-off...

It's not a stupid question Bro! The first game of the NFL season is Thursday. The games are normally on Sundays, but there are weeks where games are on Thursdays. The NFL has the SuperBowl Champs play the first game of the season and its gonna be a very good game. If Chivas USA was not playing, I more htan likely would be watching the Colts vs Saints. I like watching most sports, but of course Futbol is my favorite. So lets go CHIVAS lets beat DC!!!:D

Thanks for helping me out bro.

Man so you guys think this game will effect the attendence a lot. Before I knew the Colts game was today I really thought we might have had 12-13 k tonight. The game against RSL we had 11 k and todays game had the potential to bring in more peeps.

Our attendance should not be effected too bad, but the TV ratings will for sure. So the exposure will be less than we thought.

I, in support of may posts on this thread, have been looking forward to this match.

    Your home record is exemplary.

Your team has a solid spine.

    You have home support.

You have attackers who not only make opportunities, but they finish them.

The few times I have see Chivas play this year, I have enjoyed watching.

    Here's to a quality match!

    CHIVAS: 2
    DCU: 1

    One other thing...

    I hate Jesse Marsch.

A major reason for my predicting a Chivas win is that he always seems to be on the other side when we have an ignoble loss.

I HATE ESPN 2!!!! Please . All I would like to do is watch a soccer game from start to finish. Unfortunatly a college football game still has 14 minutes to go. I'm sure both teams have a million time outs left.

I'm listening to it on 1020AM radio.

Seems like DC's attacks are always dangerous.
