Obviously Tom Soehn has to go back and evaluate
whether he had the right blend of guys on the field ...

    No flames!
    No trolls!
    No hope!
    No Soehn!

i expected one of these guys to play: Habarugira,Shipalane,Szetzela,Wallace since wed.

....and none of them played. WTF is Soehn Thinking. His stupid ass face makes me so mad. Preki is talking /analyzing and Soehn just sits...

He subbed in Emilio on thurs. Emilio should have started today. Fred,Wallace, Pontius play well together on the left side. how soehn doesn't see this...FIRE SOEHN...

Just got back from the match. It was a beautiful night, we had an Oktoberfest Tailgate with German wine & beer, weisswurst, knockwurst, brődchen, German potato salad, bean salad, & sauerkraut.

Then there was the match. The ONLY player I thought had a decent game was Chris Pontius. The play from DC was predictable, and it was disjointed.

This was another of those matches where you wonder if it was a pick-up team, because no-one looked like they had played with each other before. When DC would get the rare attack going, the final ball (whether it was a pass or a shot), let them down.

This team just doesn't have "it", whatever "it" is. DC's season is finished even though there are games left. Stick a fork in them.

As I drove out of Lot 4, Tom Petty was playing Jimi Hendrix's "Killing Floor" and I thought, "how appropriate." At no point during the match did DCU even remotely look dangerous. This was worse than the San Jose match -- trust me.

I watched how 3 Chivas players would converge on the DCU player with possession. I watched how the DCU players would stand around and let the 3 Chivas players dispossess the DCU player. I watched Chivas players pass to space knowing a player would be there. I watched DCU players pass to other, stationary, DCU players. I saw one team with a system and a coach, I saw another, actually I didn't see another team, just some guys in black kits that must have been introduced to one another just before kickoff.

It is quite clear that Emilio, Moreno, Gomez and Olsen are done. With cement boots like his, I can't believe Emilo is Brazilian. Jaime just can't get separation anymore. Gomez lost a step, can't get separation and is small to boot. Olsen -- quite frankly at this stage in his career, Jacobson and Szetela have more size, pace and skill.

Marc Burch may be the worst defender to start a majority of games in a season. He has long passed Galin Ivanov. At least one overlapping run should be required in a game and ball watching is fine in the stands, not so good on the field.

As Don Meredith would say, "turn out the lights, the party's over." Tonight officially stuck a fork in the DCU season.

I say nay nay. If anything, the Open Cup Final showed me this team was done. Everything after that was just confirmation.

This is the biggest understatement since Hirohito announced his country's surrender by saying that "the war situation has developed not necessarily to Japan's advantage."

Evaluate??? This guy doesn't even know HOW TO FIELD A TEAM!!

What a sorry excuse that was to witness, I can't believe that even with one member down and still attacking (don't ask me how) but maintaining POSSESSION... even then we still couldn't get the ball into the net against this "other" team. That says more about what we put on the field than ANYTHING..

Our "existing" coach is CLUELESS... holly Carp.....

I am speechless... thank god this was my last season ticket and I don't have to witness this anymore...

and oh yeah... there WONT be anything more to witness after this debacle....

Time to blow this ship up... Somebody Hire Olsen to coach and get about 4-5 new good players and start over.

Somebody PLEASE explain subbing Gomez out for Moreno with 5 minutes left in the first half.

My apologies to everyone standing around me when that happened for my language.
