This thread is in the wrong section, but I know where your coming from. I dont know if we should be laughing though, A few more games like that and they will be laughing at us (laughing down at us that is)
1-0 in their first ever home game. We'll see what happens at the end of the season. Besides, we've managed to beat Chivas, twice. They've managed to lose to Chivas twice.
Yeah, without Eddie Pope, they were a mess. Still, there was Cletus getting his first goal. He is the USA's Gazza.
I've been watching both teams in recents weeks ... Chivas is WAY improved. They played Chicago the week before very well. I dare say Chivas right now is better than RSL.
Just goes to show what a difference a change in coaching philosophy can do for a team (note: we changed coaches, but I am not sure our coaching philosophy has changed much from Hanki to FC, but the jury is still out on that one). Chivas may be a dangerous squad to us yet. Seemed like the MLS Wrap folk cared much more about the one Clint Mathis goal over the 5 Chivas goals. But I did enjoy watching the highlights on MLS Wrap - so long as we beat both of these teams next time we play them.
It feels really good to see RSL flail recently. Really good. All their upity fans can sit back down now.
Exactly. Its about time those fans had a little taste of dirt. Now they can all come out of their fantasyland and be welcomed to the MLS with the rest of us. The new shoes are starting to break-in.
i updated the status of my fandom on the "what kind of fan are you" thread earlier today, but suffice it to say, I'm back in denver for the forseeable future, not because of soccer-related reasons.
