yes and also remember 2 magic words.... fake IDs. But the only reason I'm ever down there is to see some bands.
Yeah, remember the great City of Dallas has cleaned up Bachman Lake. It's now a family-friendly city . Sure.
nope- no weight requirement. bilingual? what about french? I speak french! ooh... I'm too young. and I have no earthly idea what chiva de corazon means. that counts me out! LOL...
It means "heart of a goat". So they are basically looking for female goats as cheerleaders. Good luck finding one with excellent personal hygiene.
How many here think this will help in generating more LA local excitement for this team? Making their games real occasions like the Mexican league games? How many think this is just one more example of the Chivas organization just blowing the doors off some complacent and incompetent front offices? (not Dallas - I'm thinking Crew, Metros, Revs and maybe 1 or 2 more) I do.
Well KC has had cheerleaders for some time & although the size of their crowds was better this year the place is still a morgue.
IMO This style of marketing is not my stripe. I attend matches because I enjoy the sport and The INFERNO; however, with that being said, the masses that Chivas is trying to attract feeds on this type of marketing. You cannot enter a Grocery store in Mexico w/o some chick in some sort of tight fitting outfit selling you anything from batteries, bread, cold cuts to beer, toys and cell phones. It is a proven scheme that works time and time again. You are absoutely correct, those franchises that sit idle will be left behind...
They are appealing to the wrong MKT w/ the cheer leaders. Assuming that Chivas were to be in KC, The Chiva Girls would be present at every function where Mexican Americans may gather. Hispanic grocery stores, festivals, store openings, car dealerships and get ready for this... They will be on every Sunday & Saturday on any local and national hispanic sport TV Show. From Titulares Deportivo to Republica Deportiva. I just do not see the KC cheerleaders on sport center (or the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for that matter)
I know. I was just messing around with you. Just joking around with the "Chivas fan from the heart" translation.
Exactly. From what I understand, since they got rid of the strip clubs that were there, the neighborhood has gone even further downhill. I guess that the moral of the story is: While strip clubs might not be your cup of tea, they do more for the neighborhood than vacant buildings.
You missed the point that they are just an uneeded hassle/liability as shown by the good points Wally made and the attempts at clarifying local laws/practices/discrepancies on this thread, let alone those of Cali or if the CGs went to even a different state for promotions, when you can just avoid it althogether by not hiring U-21 CGs.
