regular season ecuadorian Benítez wad leasing scorer, second wad chupete with 9 or 10, suizo was out for 3 weeks at the end of the season

Maher Vera who was born in Mexico is the son of Chileno Juan Carlos Vera, Maher has joined 2nd division team Altamira on trial. Anybody got more info on him?

Humberto Swayze scored in the semifinal vs Pumas. He took on a defender who hopelessly lost the ball and went one on one vs the keeper then scored. fckin class!
He could've bagged a brace in the last 15 seconds but he let the argie Neri Cardozo score the 2nd goal from his deflected shot.
Final score- 2-0
Global score- 2-0

If Monterrrey kept the 0-0 draw they still would've qualified for the final regardless.

Droguett to Cruz Azul is big... CA is becoming very powerful


What i don't understand is the Mancilla to Tigres thing.....Toluca is a big team in MExico, Tigres are not. isn't he supposed to be the best forward in Mexico, one of the best foreigners etc...? Isn't this a step down?

i think he was one of the best FINISHERS in 2008 and 2009, he was leadding scorer 2 times and arrow and sub-lider before that. Alot of that has to do with having a passer like Zinha.., but his game dropped down alot this year. Tigres is considered a big team with abig fan base in the northern part of mexico classico northern with Monterrey rayados. They have a new coach Tuca Ferrerrit who works wonders with players. We will see how tigres does this years, they are also getting a brazilian name Danilinho from jaguares, and have Lucas lobos, Dambian alvarez, and some other good players.

i think in chile we have a pretty good idea of what mancilla is, a good finisher and goal scorer but really nothing out of this world. but having been in mexico, i was under the impression that Mancilla was considered up there with Cabanas and Suazo (which to me is a massive exageration)

didn't he win the best foreigner award, and the 'pichichi' 2 years in a row now?

anyways, Tigres might have a big fan base but it seems like a step down. I would have though he'd end up in CA or America before Tigres
