Switch out Hazzard for Willian and Emerson for Alonso and this is the Forum’s dream lineup, right? [emoji6]

Is it close? Looked obvious he won the ball! Thank you VAR for once.

VAR overturns penalty. Announcer seems to have seen a different play, both seem pretty anti-VAR.

Then a penalty for Chelsea minutes later. Bad day to be Wednesday.

I didn’t think so. Seemed pretty clear.

Great to see the goal...but maybe it would have been good for Higuain to get one under his belt.

P.S. Seems like that stutter step run-up must be on borrowed time. Unfair to keeper, whose margin for error is already so small. You can’t hitch like that on free throws.

Disjointed first half...not surprising considering new striker, all the squad rotation. Without the penalties, neither side made much noise. I’m also only half-watching.

    P.S. watching via ESPN+ stream

We’re very comfortable without creating too much, but up a goal. Just managing the game, it feels like.
Higuain is OK. A bit more upright than Morata, I have to say.
CHO is lively but the end product is poor.

One plus so far with higuain is his willingness to come back into the game and be involved.

Wednesday have defended well to their credit. CHO our biggest threat on the ball in the first 45.

With Barkley on the pitch the biggest question is how will sarri sub out kova for him.

Superb work from willian, missed by the men in the middle and skied by kova. Ho hum.

His crosses have a Moses-esque ability to find the first defender.

    Fixed :)

CHO’s final ball continues to be...bad.

68 Hudson-Odoi has been directly involved in five goals in his last five starts for Chelsea in all competitions (2 goals, 3 assists).

We are devastatingly boring to watch.

With a real box to box midfielder instead of Barkley we might be much better. I wonder if Pulisic spends some time there next year.

By the way, the ESPN+ subscription trial has been pretty awesome. Not sure if worth it when the league is back and running, but it's cool to check in on Serie A, Holland, and the odd Doncaster match.

ESPN+ subscription is nice quite frankly.

I resisted forever, but now that they’ve added so many streaming games it’s absolutely worth it. Before it was just fantasy advice and Mel Kyper Jr. articles.
