A delicious Tuesday fixture featuring Chelsea Football Club and Norwich. The game is in Norwich. Norwich sit in 17th place and Chelsea, who have done much better under Hiddink, have climbed up to 11th. The game will not be televised in the US; NBC Sports is featuring Leicester v. West Brom instead, which is awesome. I'll be watching that game with one eye and rooting for Leicester's wonder run to continue. I hesitate to call their season a "fairy tale" season because that would imply that they've had a lot of luck or magic come their way. In fact, they've worked really hard and outplayed their opponents. Nothing has been gifted to them. Anyway, you can watch the Chelsea match on the NBC Sports Live Extra app. Hiddink says he's looking to rest some players, maybe opening up opportunities for Traore, Kenedy, and RLC, but I doubt that will happen and we'll see pretty much the lineup we all expect to see. Remember when Costa threw his bib at Jose? Good stuff! Naismith might score 15 goals today? Never forget.
Traore has a shot at some real minutes today. Hints of a start but I'm reluctant to hope for that yet.

traore was always talked about as a RW before he made the move to striker while at Vitesse. could be in midfield. that's where he played for us in the preseason he played in.

Yeah, the Chelsea twitter feed is saying he's playing on the right. Very direct team; seems odd against a side that's going to sit back a lot.
Strange lineup. Why is Costa starting if he needs a rest? Also, this Kenedy at LB nonsense that began under Jose has to stop. He is totally wasted there. If we benched every player that made an atrocious mistake that led to a goal, Ivan and Gary wouldn't even be in the reserves. We need to show confidence in Baba for the rest of the season to see if he is capable of being our LB, at which point we know if we need to go spend another 20 million quid on a new one.
I'm not sure I mind Kenedy at LB - he's been OK there. And I think the issue with Baba isn't that we don't trust him, but that he apparently was really down on himself, so he needs to get over that. I expect we'll see him back soon enough. I completely agree on Costa.

Honestly it was just a run up the pitch by Hazard, feeds Kenedy on the left who cuts inside and shoots low into the corner. Lovely shot though.

Not sure which is more painful Bane running or having to watch Bane run? If Baba is being punished for a bad game/mistake why not Fabegras?
