Ahh, the magic of the Cup. Diminished as it is, I still love this competition. Zola has indicated that youth will get a chance and CHO is back so fingers crossed for some injection of energy tomorrow.

Forest knocked arsenal out last year at this stage.

I believe this will be on ESPN+ stateside.

Missed penalty for Cesc. Creating loads of chances but finishing poor as usual. But think we should score eventually.

Let's hope after that penalty kick:eek::eek::eek::rolleyes::ROFLMAO:

Don't know if Sarri has finally made some adjustments or todays Chelsea team is simply better and more dangerous than the iron 11, Morata aside obviously, but I like we are seeing far more off ball and purposeful movement on the attack, even if to no avail yet

I think he has back pain again. Sad, maybe that is something that is hampering his progress.

Have to factor in the opposition too. They are sitting off us more and dont have the same quality closing us down.

That said, I am so happy CHO is healthy for this one, he's starting to turn it on and i hope he keeps his spot for a bit.

Gutted for RLC, looked distraught coming off because he knows this is a time to shine (and thought he was our best player for the first 30 mins).

Morata on a hat trick lol

I was engaging in a bit of hyperbole;)

But I do think our biggest problem this season especially against sitting teams, (and well has been for the last 4-5 years, even the good years in spots) is the lack off off the ball movement, purpose and intent, we like to stand and pass the ball sideways and backwards back and forth like all the attackers are rooted to their spots by wireless collars. Then two players now and again try a give and go against 5 or 6+ sitting players.

So you make valid points but I am enjoying seeing more movement and intent today, hope we see more from the iron 11 and as you say far more CHO, who has been an impetus for it today.

Morata I think more than anyone needs a week in Vegas with a case of tequila and a slew of kissing hookers.

Never seen anyone so miserable getting paid millions to play a game even when he scores.

Alvaro is a mind ********. Honestly, kind of relatable... but shit.. to see that in a pro footballer. Not sure what he needs but a break and some therapy surely wouldn’t hurt.

“In football, physical condition is very important, but the head is the most important thing. If you don’t have the head, if the mentality is not good, then you are in trouble.”

Morata should speak with this person. Oh.

He’s aware. Introspective people like that always are.. on a human level I hope he gets it sorted. At a pro level, we don’t have the time to really deal with this for a great deal longer.

I forget who said it but it applies across all professional sports... the game is 10% physical and 90% mental.

It’s against Forest. He needs to do it consistently against the best of the best. Or at least EPL level competition.
