Is this the 1989-1990 season - the game we lost 1-0 at home when Bumstead scored? I remember this game particularly well because I had me wife in tow and I remember it was a beautiful day. Arsenal blew the league title that day and I was very misable the next few weeks. Liverpool won the title that year, I think we came 4th. We just couldn't get results away from home that season. It was also the year we were beaten in the League Cup by mighty Oldham Athl on their infamous "plastic pitch". They went on all the way but lost in the final. Then we got knocked out of the FA Cup by Queens Park Rangers. We learned a few lessons and won the title the following year, only losing once........away to Chelsea.
