Think you're right. My Dad was mentioning it was Oct 1 because of Ryder Cup being an early crown jewel.

    Or Cox

If it wasn't for the poor latency of Directv's internet I'd have jumped a while back.

Now see, if it was in 3D you could almost feel like you were strangling somebody.

    But yeah, it is annoying.

I thought I was the only one!
The first time I heard it, I thought it was something wrong with my TV....but now it's just annoying.

    Sweet!! Hadn't seen that yet!

You know I have DirecTV and Verizon allowed me to bundle my DirecTV with their Internet and Phone as part of the Triple Play package since I can't get Fios. Ever think of that?

Actually no, I hadn't. Wonder if they would do that here? I'm in the same boat re Fios.

In the meantime, enjoy that HD action!

Call and ask. I didn't know until I called to see if I could get FIOS. When I said no (now I can) they told me about there program with Verizon. Saved ourselves about $25 per month.

FSC will have Chelsea's opening fixture live at 12:30pm EST on Saturday the 14th. They also have, of course, the Community Shield live at 10am EST this Sunday:)

The WBA match will be replayed on FSC at 8:30pm EST Saturday night and 9:00am the following morning.

They also have our next game, against Wigan, live on the 21st. It will also be replayed, at 5pm Saturday, at 9am the next morning and also on the following Tuesday:cool:

Sweet, seems so so soon! The World Cup makes the summer so much shorter.

speaking of Chelsea TV, anyone who has the internet Chelsea TV with their True Blue, has anyone figured out a way to DVR stuff for later. Obviously there isn't a native DVR feature, but any programs out there?

I would love to be able to watch some of the programs they have on during the day, but living in America is kinda hindering that.

You're a True Blue member right though Rich? You get it on there. Much better too than what Setanta would provide.

Give it time though. As is now I can't see FSC+ succeeding without more original programming. I won't be subscribing this year.

I don't understand how Setanta still exists in Ireland and Canada, but not in the US and the UK. I don't think Comcast offers FSC+.

Comcast blows. Get Verizon with either FIOS or DirecTV. See my other post, Verizon will bundle your DirecTV account with their phone and internet. They have a deal with DirecTV. I love DirecTV. I could write DirecTV all day long I love it so much. Plus in 5 days I'll have FSC in HD with DirecTV.

Oh and every night they replay Oz and The Wire reruns on The DirecTV Network 101.

I could have sworn I said this on the last page, but I'm pretty sure my building is only wired for Comcast, ergo I can't get Verizon FiOS.

You did. I always forget what it's like to live in an apartment since it's been awhile since I did so. That sucks.

Screw Comcast.....I'm off to school in the fall so I guess it really won't matter.

I'll have to rely on ESPN3 (how many games do they even get?) and SopCast.

I'll be a senior and off campus... definitely going to be collecting funds each month for the digital box. I've lived without FSC for 3 years and I can't do it another one. It's one thing getting up every weekend with a raging hangover and throwing the Chels on the tv. It's a totally different matter scouring the internet for dodgy streams with a splitting headache and a sleeping roommate.
