CP starts again wide in an apparent 4-3-3. Everton beating Leicester makes third place a possibility for Chelsea today.

Oh, it's not an available game. Awesome. Pulisic is drawing so much attention that the left flank is wide open any time he moves into the channel.

Not available? It's on NBCSN. Do you mean on the package?

Chelsea extremely high percentage of possession. Willian gets a little bit of space in the box but blasts it at the keeper. West Ham a little too passive to pull this off for 90 minutes, but Chelsea really hasn't had a very good chance yet.

Used to like Alonso, but he's gotten old quickly. Too slow to win balls and so 1-footed he misses square passes that would switch the pt of attack and not force Chelsea to play thru another layer or two of defense.

Pulisic finally gets the ball, runs at defense aggressively, lays it wide to Alonso ... who can't get off a cross. He hasn't seen much of the ball.

alonso getting ample opportunities to play dangerous balls and is really slow of thought and action. kind of a black hole so far

Give West Ham this - they know who to sit back, limit chances, and look for their counter. Just like a team that hasn't scored since February.

announcers seem to think that west ham players can make up for the fact they arent as good as chelseas by being 'braver'

Pass to Pulisic just inside the top of the box, first time curling shot just misses the top corner. Would love another chance at that one, team's best chance yet.

What do you want them to say? That they should have just stayed in the locker room?

CP not being super involved from what I've seen... but had a chance to score there. Doesn't miss by much from just inside the box.

Antonio(?) hesitates to give his teammate a run that could put him through. Loses ball on end line. Water break and each team has had one very good chance on goal.

Tammy's movement is really bad. He just doesn't put himself in positions to receive the ball.

i mean its better than making up some idiotic concept like 'bravery' for being able to dribble, pass, and control the ball under pressure
