this is going to be a tough one. They better win. 6:30 AM is mighty early and I don't want to be in a bad mood all day.

    1-0 to the Gunners

    3-1 to the Gunners

Hopefully we can put in a good outing and give me some good news before my flight to London later in the day.

well, this 5 man midfield with pretty much Ljungberg being the striker doesnt work.
cygan's only quality for being a LB is the fact he is left footed.
    gilberto has been extremely poor.
the only person who has stood out so far is Cesc, real quality and creative passing.
and the most disappointing of the whole half... henry.
if he wasnt such a matchwinner, id take him off.. totally dis-interested.
his slumped shoulders speaks volumes, NICE CAPTAIN!!!
and ljungberg scores on that breakaway any other season, he is just in bad form.
cant imagine what Wenger can possibly say to this team to motivate them.

and happy ST STEPHENS DAY EVERYONE!!! ;)

I'm following along on GameCast and I think Henry has been mentioned only twice this first half.

Besides 1 or 2 plays the passing has been the worst i've ever seen. I dunno what AW can say in the half time break but he needs to do sumthing.

Looks like this team has wrapped up this season and just waits it to end.

Not anykind signs of winning attitude.

It is about time for Wenger to start rebuilding team totally.
Pires, Reyes, Cygan, Ljunberg byebye, time has come.

Strong head playing midfielder ( or two ) with attitude, strip Henry's captain
stripe and give it to someone else, Thierry just isn't captain type.

I so wish they would have had heart to play strong to get next years CL, because they willl get their asses kicked around by real madrid with this kind of performance.

    Absolutly pathetic.

    tri state stunna

I'm mad now, so I my judgement could be blinded but I agree. I hate it when teams like Charlton look like they are giving more effort on the pitch. Between our lightweight stoner midfield and our bad luck at the moment we are an ugly bunch to watch. I'm hoping the sun will set Reyes free! COME ON ARSENAL!!!! WAKE UP!!!

Just arrived in NYC....LATE! No chance of catching the game at Nevada Smith's :( (at an internet cafe as we speak). Gonna have to watch the text on this one.

On the other hand, there's a GAP store right on the corner (they're opening at 9am). This message is only meant for one person. Take a wild guess??? At least he didn't wait 'till I was at the airport!

    Travelling English mods SUCK!

Cesc is the problem! The whole team look edgy and are trying to force things, when they need to build more patiently instead of so many longer passes. Cygan at LB is a defensive mismatch but or problems really reside with Fabregas! He's all over the place, but not where we need hims to be which is commanding the game as playmaker from the centre circle, leaving Gilberto to be holding player and playmaker; which he's not comfortable doing. Cesc is either picking the ball up too deep or, more often too far forward, ahead of the ball. It's shutting Hleb and Reyes out of the game and he's actually got in the way of a few build ups?

A mixture of desire for The Arsenal to score and lack of confidence to be where should be; living in the centre circle, opening up space and getting Hleb, Reyes and Freddie into the channels? If he drops into the middle we could win this comfortably?
