I couldn't find an existing thread on new chant/song ideas, so I just started a new thread. I thought of a great yet simple chant that bares resemblence to Liverpool's "You'll Never Walk Alone."

Now maybe I'm just ignorant and haven't heard another team using this song, but I think this could be great if supporters chanted it when the team came out on the field or something along those lines. The simple lyrics stand for everything supporters stand for. We are friends of the team and will always be there for our Dynamo.

The song is "Never Be Alone (We are your friends)" by Simian and later mixed by the popular DJ group Justice (which is how I found the song after attending one of their concerts. The crowd at this concert (Madison Square Garden, which was amazing) starting chanting:

    "Because we are your friends
    you'll never be alone again
well come on well come on
well come on well come on
    Because we are your friends
    you'll never be alone again
well come on well come on
well come on well come on."

It's really simple. It's really catchy. Fans will join in. It could be great.

Just an idea I had. Like I said, it would be an easy yet great chant for the entire stadium to get involved. What do you guys think?

i don't like the song but it's a great idea, i wish we had some type of anthem that fans would want to learn so that the whole crowd would be chanting at least for a few minutes.

    Needs work

Who's that team they call the Dynamo
Who's that team we all adore
We're the boys in orange and white and we fight with all our might
And we're out to show the world the proper way to score
Bring on New England or even LA
Bring on the Chivas by the score
Pachuca, Chicago, Pumas are losers in our way
And we're out to show the world (the proper?) way to score

    -------

Where ever they go we`ll follow our team,
For we are the Dynamo and we are supreme,
We'll never be mastered by no fu**ing bastards,
And we'll keep the orange flag flying high,
Flying high, up in the sky,
We'll keep the orange flag flying high
    All over Texas
We'll keep the orange flag flying high

    ---------

We love you Dynamo, we do!
We love you Dynamo, we do!
We love you Dynamo, we DO!
    Oh! Dynamo we love you!

    ------------

    We will follow the Dynamo
Over land and sea - And Dallas!
    We will follow the Dynamo
    onnnntooo vi-ic-toreee
    We will follow the Dynamo
Over land and sea - And Dallas!
    We will follow the Dynamo
    onnnntooo vi-ic-toreee
    -----------

******** em all, ******** em all,
    Chivas, Dallas, and LA,
Coz we are the Dynamo and we are the best,
We are the Dynamo so ******** all the rest

Just a plea from an original season ticket holder.

Please, El Battalion and Texian Army....rejoin forces on the North End. So much impact is lost by having you both chant different things at the same time on different ends of the field.

You've gone from unifying fans in "Ole Ole" chants to confusing us and keeping us quiet because you're singing/playing over each other the whole game and we can't tell what you're saying anymore.

It's quite distracting (along with the drummers that are still a 3rd group on the south side) and I really miss the atmosphere we had the past 2 years (and beginning of this year) with you all on the same side.

    Liverpool's "You'll Never Walk Alone." .
Actually it was originally written by Rogers and Hammerstein for the musical 'caroselle' (not sure if that's spelt correctly). Celtic first sung in when we beat Rangers 7-1 in 1957, and Liverpool sung it when Gerry and the Pacemakers adapted it and turned it into a top 10 hit in 1964.

This has been bouncing around in my head for some time. To the tune of the refrain in "Big Girls Don't Cry." (I know, I know)

    Hoouuuuston Dynamo-o-o (Dynamo)
    Hoouuuuston Dynamo (Score goals, Dynamo)

    -or-

    Daaaaale Dynamo-o-o (Dynamo)
Daaaaale Dynamo (*something spanish and metered* Dynamo)

    ---

    Rinse and repeat.

Good luck with this request. I tried to talk to them about this when the one small group would play "louie louie and batman songs" and they told me I was crazy. I told them it sounds like two radios blaring two different stations at the same time which sounds bad, but they don't want to hear it. I wish you luck. If your opinion is different than their opinion, they often will just basically tell you to shut up because your opinion is wrong.

YNWA is open for use to any supporters and thier team but I would say LFC and Celtic have that tradition on lock.

Yeah it sucks! So much voice has been lost. But indeed like HTown mentioned Chris, take this up with those in the Army that abandoned their post. There are the Texians like me and my friends that stayed in the North End and then there are those Texians that left the North End for whatever reason they can come up with this week.

If you want to influence a supporters group, join one. If you want both groups to think you are a retard, continue suggesting what they should do while you spend the game sitting in your seat eating nachos.

I agree with you Chega, except for the TA being racist part. Different cultures that have a different way of doing things. No one is the right or wrong way. This just lets us do our own things without stepping on each other's toes.

I think this racist shit is getting out of hand.

I believe you're horrible at Spanish Blu. it makes my ears hurt. you do kiss ass but you kiss only one person's ass. And the only racist remarks I've heard are from outside the Supporter's Group that I belong to and you don't.

If The Texian Army was as racist as you wish it to be, what am I do there?? I was born in Monterrey and proud of it. speak better Spanish than you will ever dream of.
I never had to kiss anyone's ass in the Texian Army. so if you were told to kiss ass by someone so you could get ahead in the Army, that person was lying to you.
