Arsenal vs Panathinaikos

A vital game for both sides after they 2-2 draw in Athens 2 weeks ago. Panathinaikos proved that they could face any side in Europe especially when they are at home and on a good day. At the moment they seem to be in a good form having won easily on Saturday, Panionios for the Greek league. The visitors however might have some players missing from their journey to London.

The Gunners on the other hand have won only 1 of their last 4 games, 2-2 away draw against Panathinaikos, 2-0 defeat by Manchester United last weekend and 2-2 draw at home against Southampton, winning Manchester City in midweek for the English Carling Cup. The English side needs all three points this Tuesday if they want to have any hopes of winning the Group.

It will not be very easy for Arsenal but they are the big favorites.

Barcelona vs Milan

A big derby between two of the biggest European clubs. The game of the first round finished with the Italians winners, 1-0 in a very close game. The Spanish will want to get “revenge” and prove once again that they are among the best sides in Europe this season. Barcelona is currently top of the Spanish Primera Division, and a win against AC Milan will almost secure them a place in the next round of the Champions League.

AC Milan on the other hand is currently 2 nd placed in Italian Serie A, behind Juventus, but their European campaign has proved to be very successful so far with 3 wins out of 3 games, 1-0 and 3-1 at home against Barca and Celtic and 1-0 away against Sahtar. They just need one win in their remaining 3 games to qualify to the next round.

Barca in the favorite in this game but AC Milan is not an easy opponent.

CSKA Moscow vs Chelsea

Top of the Russian league CSKA is welcoming top of the Premiership, together with Arsenal, Chelsea. CSKA seem to be the big favorite of winning the Russian league as they are currently one point above 2 nd placed Lokomotiv with just 2 games remaining before the end of the season. In their last league game they impressed by winning 3 rd placed Zenit, 3-0 away from home. In their European games they have 1 win, 1 draw and 1 defeat, which was 14 days ago against Chelsea in London (2-0). However, against PSG and Porto they showed that their defence is solid and it will be hard for the London side to break it through.

Chelsea on the other hand has achieved 3 wins in their first 3 European games in which they have been conceded just 1 goal, at home against Porto in a game that they won 3-1. Murinho is a coach that has brought desipline to his side and is mainly focusing on keeping a clean sheet especially in his team’s away games. The English side has many World Class players in its roster and despite the fact that they had to give many games in the last couple of weeks, they can still be fresh in this tough game.

The game is open to any result so it might be safer to bet on the number of the total goals
