    In CM3.

Getting Cambridge United to the Champions League Final.

    Team.

GK. Peter Smichel / Sebastien Frey
    DL. Andrew Duncan
    DM. Gary Neville
    DM. Sol Campbell
    DR. Ashley Cole

    MR. Kevin Rapley
    MC. Emmanuel Petit
    MC. Gio Kinkladze
    ML. Marc Overmars

    AC. Ian Moore
    AC. Leon McKenzie.

Ian Moore and McKenzie were amazing in CM3.

In CM 00/01 (Best CM ever imo) I got West Ham to Champions League final and won it. Team was.

    GK. David James

    DR. Izzy Irekiban
    DM. Rio Ferdinand
    DM. Stephane Henchoz
    DL. Sun Jihai

    MR. Stephan Ishizaki
    MC. Mads Jorgensen
    MC. Kim Kallstrom
    ML. Ronaldinho

    AMC. Nicolas Anelka
    AC. Javier Saviola

Won everything with that team. They were magic. Izzy was from the reserve, bolstered the midfield with attacking young swedish talent, added the talents of the godlike Saviola and Ronaldinho, and bought Sun Jihai and Henchoz from Man City and Liverpool.

Before I had Saviola I used Martin Palermo, he was magic too.

My greatest acheivement was taking Atalanta from Serie B to CL winners in 2 years time w/o making one significant signing.

Losing the Champion's League final to Lazio with Barnet by conceding two late goals.

Greatest achievement ever, to reach the final. Greatest failure ever, not to close out that minute 78 1-0 lead. I almost cried real tears. I'm sure that my players did.

I still play CM 01-02, by the way. Haven't been able to face the newer versions.

In an older version I started with a serie C2 club and after one season I had a serie A team. Just before winter break I got a contract with the club that was in the last position of serie B. I had noticed they had really good players but were underachieving. We ended 5th and I got contracted by a Serie A team. Then I quit because there was a newer version available.

Errol Telemaque was brill in that game, got me 40 goals in Div1 promotion season.

And Andrew Duncan went to Real Madrid when I was in the 2nd divison.

yup... absolutely great game... a few new additions so it feels like a new game but its familiar enough to remind you of the good old days. some nice additions in terms of realism.. there is just one bug though. For some bloody reason Alan Smith cannot seem to go more than 2 matches without picking up a yellow for diving - I can't figure this one out.

Right... on topic, greatest team I've had

    GK: Buffon
    DL: Silvestre
    DC: Rio
    DC: Lucio
    DR: Cafu
    ML: Stankovic
    MC: De Rossi
    MC: Ronaldinho
    MR: Van der Meyde
    FC: Pazzini
    FC: Van Nistelrooy

best achievement: winning the world cup with Nigeria.
