Hope he can make 2014 Brazil, he'll be 34. Maybe it's just me but if a player has exceeded his KNT lifespan I tend to stop following his carrer. Seo Jung Won is a good example.
Was just having a quick look through this thread and, seeing as I can't see a new Ki thread for the upcoming season, I thought I'd add this on here (hope it hasn't already been posted elsewhere). Neil Lennon is hoping to see the benefits of Ki Sung Yeung’s World Cup experience when the midfield rejoins Celtic later this month. The 22-year-old played in all four of South Korea’s World Cup matches and looked at home up against some of the best players in the world. Ki only came to Celtic in January with Lennon looking to get the best out of the former FC Seoul man when the new season kicks off. Neil Lennon on Ki:
N'Guemo was only a loan deal last season and wont be returning to Celtic. Hinkel was mentioned as being a possible target for Hertha Berlin in January. They were struggling badly then and did, inevitably, get relegated so I doubt he'll be looking towards them but if we're bringing in Du Ri then I'd imagine Hinkel must be moving back to his homeland.
Great to see Cha at celtic. How many spots do SPL get at the UEFA CL? Has celtic secured a spot for the CL?
Two spots this season. But we blew it last season by failing to win the league so we have to play two qualifiers to make it to the group stage. Not impossible, but certainly very tricky.
Yes, thanks for the update fraser, they're always nice to have especially during the season since it's harder to catch SPL games than EPL. Maybe I'll actually spring for the Celtic video service this time around, haha. At least if it seems that either Cha or Ki will play regularly!
