I see a partay a brewing in Cancun baybeeeeee

 

I can personally tell, you guys have nothing to worry about. As someone mentioned before the last thing FMF need is people getting hurt.
Plus, trust me the environment @ the Atlante stadium in Cancun is very friendly, you can see kids with their parents supporting the team, it’s because they care about keeping the team there, that the security is ok (not perfect, take precautions like in any other place) and I’m pretty sure you’ll have a great time!!

Since they been playing in Cancun for only a couple of years they don't have a big and/or violent "barra". "Aliento Azulgrana" is the name of their "barra" and they haven't been involved with violence and/or hostility to away fans.

 

Guys, c'mon we're going to Cancun for God's sake, they see so many tourists and "gringos" that it will really be no big deal to see Dynamo supporters there. But I agree you can find a problem anywhere if you're looking for one...

Now if we were playing in England, France or Italy, etc...I would take mace... :O)

The Texian Army is sending a group, some of whom are already on the running list in this thread. We now have a contact at the Atlante FO and yossarin is going to find out about logistics of ticketing, what we can bring in the stadium, and that sort of thing. We'll post something about ticket info and so forth once we find out.

 

I hope they let me bring the helmet. I've taken it all over the place.

 

No matter what anybody says, there is always a threat. A group of 5 thugs tried to fight Max and I in COLUMBUS OHIO. Better safe than sorry.

I just called the Atlante ticket office. They are currently not selling tickets nor do they know how much they'll cost. They told me to call the last week of February.

All away fans will probably get placed together in a section on the opposite side of the stadium from the local SG. The didn't have an section number, but it was the "Azul" entrance/section. They did say we can get a security escort into the stadium, and they recommend for us to walk in one hour before the game.

You can stop hounding the Dynamo or the Atlante FOs. I called them to get more info.

Tickets will be sold one week to three days before the game.

Tickets prices aren't set yet, and there are no reserved sections for away fans.

 

There better be room for us, and they'd better not pull a Pachuca and give away seats, at least not before we get a chance to get ours.

It looks like there's a whole lot of space between the field and the seats. I've seen games on tv from there but don't remember much about it....

Atlante plays at home against Morelia tonight at 9 on Telemundo 47... a chance to check out el estadio Andrés Quintana Roo.

Maybe they'll put us in one of those boxes down near the track... or in two or three of them. The seats look like they're far from the field, which is what I noticed in the video I posted earlier too.
