It was important to get a win after the game with Inter. Now there is room for improvement, but at least you can work with calmness.
Starting Natan and Ostigard is what scares me. ADL needs to spend some money on the backline. This is Juan Jesus' last year with us and if Ostigard can't win a starting job or at least show he can be relied on as a 3rd CB, I think we may look to move him on (whether it be on loan or altogether). We have money and the rest of the team is good to go. Hoping that someone can be brought in this January but realistically feels like a move that should be done in the summer. Typically, great CB's aren't available in January.
Lazio dropped more points. We HAVE to take advantage. Clearly the teams who played midweek are struggling. Barca also had a very tough game against Celta. Manchester United struggled with Burnley and Union Berlin lost to Hoffenheim.
Inter drop points to Bologna @ home. Juventus vs Torino coming up in 25mins, Juve haven't lost in their last 18 matches against Toro so we probably know how it's going to go BUT you never know
Nevertheless, Allegri insisted that Juventus’ main target this season is to finish in the top four. He reiterated that Milan, Inter and Napoli are favourites for the Serie A title adding that the team ahead of them [Inter] “has been built for years to win the Scudetto.” According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Allegri’s claims irritated Inter directors because the Nerazzurri had to deal with financial restrictions over the last few seasons being forced to sign many free agents and sell some of their best players to balance the books. The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Achraf Hakimi, André Onana and Robin Gosens are only some of those who had to leave the Stadio Meazza from 2021 for financial reasons. Juventus, on the other hand, made some big-money signings in the same period, welcoming the likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Gleison Bremer, Manuel Locatelli and Moise Kean. Allegri is sly, funny, and pathetic at the same time. I'd rather let a hamster coach us.
And honestly, BvB is no joke. I watched their last game in Bundesliga, and they were on fire, looked more dangerous than Chuck Norris on steroids. I personally have nothing against AC, they definitely do not irritate me as much as Juve, in fact, no other team does. It's just the way Juve have been destroying football with those 1:0, 0:1 results for a decade that always gets me. Yes, AC has ********ed us majorly last season, but they did so playing good football, and their victories were fully deserved. Still hurt though, but I can take a rival like that.
@WONMIN Jose had his agent tell the Daily Mail he wants to return to Manchester United. New owners, new heist? Would it be a comedy, with Jose laughing with us at our dumb owners? Or a suspenseful thriller, leaving us at the edge of our seats for 90 minutes, not knowing if we will score or concede at precisely the 91st minute and thus deciding the outcome of the game?
@WONMIN On a more serious note, I think he's playing the long game with Man U. It's not that Mou expects to get the job this summer. He expects the next manager to fail and INEOS will panic hire him.
@WONMIN Chelsea fans singing Mou's name. Do you think the American/Iranian front men who own Chelsea on behalf of the illuminati will hire him?
