Did you see Casey's goal? Was it taken well?

I'm just following by liveticker and Radio, wait a minute

    Translation from Sport.deticker:
2nd goal: A dreamgoal! Casey makes a really hard shot from 16 meters and hits it in the long ankle (the corner further away from him)! No Chance for Jentsch (the Wolfsburg keeper)

Casey seems to have had quite a few other chances, looks very very good.

2 goals to the same guy in the 45th minute. I was hoping it was just a matchtracker mistake. :(

Petrov was the only Bulgarian worth anything at Euro 2004. He was impressive but not 4 goals impressive.

Ouch! God, I can't stand Wolfsburg! They should test Petrov for illegal substances after the game! ;)

Christ is Mainz awful on D today.

And I think I see Mills Lane rushing the pitch to give the entire Mainz team a standing eight count

i'm watchin' live... i'm really glad i didn't take the fan bus up for this one. you guys are actin' like we (errr, mainz i should say) just caved after the 2-0 lead. not the case. first off, CC's goal was MAGIC. took the ball down at the top of the area right hand side, took one touch then unleased a rocket, cracker, of a shot into the upper left hand corner. a few minutes later... by the way stefan schnur of wolfsburg might be the dirtiest little weasel i've ever seen, but i digress... our best player IMHO, mimoun assouagh blew out his knee defending a corner. thereafter we haven't been able to string more than 2 passes together in midfield. also, we had to sub matthias abel (who was at fault or at least late on the 2nd goal right before half) out due to his torn hamstring that, judging from this game, doesn't seem to have healed... although he had the first goal. which reminds me... conor actually helped cause the first goal also... he went up for the header aggressively and the wolfsburg keeper, jentsch, came out but couldn't outfight casey, lost the ball and abel headed into the goal. OHHH SWEET>>> sorry my boy christof 'boom boom' babatz just scored a suuuhweet free kick... 3-4! AUF GEHT'S MAINZER!! sorry can't help it. oh and we're also playing a man down due to a bogus red card. it definitely hit kramny's hand, but it sure looked ball to hand, even the announcer said... kann man pfeifen, muss man aber nicht. such is life on the road.
