    Hey All,
Here is a summary of the events that will be taking place at Saturday's home openner at the Oakland Coliseum. Please be sure to check the Casbah website for updates. The Quakes front office have planned a number of pre-game activies including, a video on the big screen, sky divers and our two MLS trophies being handed by SSV to Lew Wolff in a pre-game ceremony. The full details can be found in this press release.

The Casbah and 1906-Ultras will be doing a combined cheer for SSV and Lew Wolff before/during the trophy presentation. Probably our "We love you Earthquakes (sub SSV or Lew Wolff), ... we do!" cheer. If you don't know it don't worry it's not too hard to catch on. We'd also like to gather near the Club Quake tailgate before the game to practice our cheers. So if you're comming early please swing by.

The Club Quake tailgate location is in Lot A, as shown on our website. There is no official Casbah Tailgate, however we had been invited to join the Club Quake tailgate. If you are coming to the tailgate bring you own burgers (or hot dogs, etc.) and drinks. Club Quake will supply the grill.

There will also be an informal “futsal” style pickup game between Chicago’s traveling Section 8 supporters and Quakes supporters. If you would like to participate please let us know, questions@thecasbah.org. We will meet up for this next to the Club Quake Tailgate.

    Game Day Itinerary:
10:30AM - Parking lot gates will open. Tailgate is in Lot A, meet at tailgate for pick-up game.
11:00AM - The pre-game festival will take place between lots A and D.
12:00PM - The stadium games will open.
    1:00PM??? - Pre-game ceremonies to take place.
    1:30PM - Game start time.

Finally, if you have not yet picked up your scarf, they will be available for pickup at the tailgate area. If you have not yet joined the Casbah and would like to, we will also be taking memberships forms and dues.

See you all there! Go Quakes!

Cool if we use "We love you EarthQuakes, We do", and then a separate, "One Lew Wolff" chant just for Lew? It caught on in LA and it was pretty good. Either to the tune of Guantanamera or Blue Moon, either works.

And we really should welcome them back with "When the Quakes Go Marching In"...

Do you guys think we can start this song realllly slowly, with no drums and only get faster once we repeat it? I know this is song-stealing, but Tottenham does it and it sounds fantastic. We would be the only fans in MLS to try something like this.

FYI, the pickup game will not be happening. The flights for the traveling Chicago supporters got rescheduled. So they won't be here with enough time for this to take place. :( Sorry to all those who wanted to play.

Oh well, we would have played them off the concrete pitch anyway.
