Good for him. Dudes like Darwin and Pabon should stay put, they are at the best place (for them).

Sometimes there is a drop off in play when you move to a new team, have high expectations placed upon you (He is the highest paid foreigner I believe) and have more pressure on you to perform.

Glad he played well last night and hope he continues to do well.
Would be nice to see him finally play in a Copa Mundial de clubes.

Darwin scored a brace in America's elimination from the playoffs. Puma's team captain Dario Veron allegedly called Darwin a 'simio de mierda'.

Ok not to start a racist debate but why are Mexicans all about calling us monkeys. The natives there looks like nvm....

I remember having to leave the Univision soccer forum because 80% of the comments was calling us monkeys.

He suffered from a blood clot and is out for the rest of the season. Was it a blood clot or a stroke? A whole season out seems like a stroke. Either way get better Darwin

    Isn't this what killed Calero?

Ok originally they said it was a year. I remember them saying something similar about Calero shoulder. I google translated it and it says blood clot but when I read a year I was confused if it might have been a bad stroke and he lose some functionality in his body or something

A ball in the back of the head could easily yield a concussion. I did see a debate on one of the Mexican sport channels where Hugo Sanchez defended Quintero and said this is VERY common. Apparently they all make it a fun bet to see if they can hit a member of the press.

It is still classless to do so. Press is still doing their job even if they're creating some type of sensationalism.
