This game won't actually take place on the 24th of October...that's a Monday, it will probably be on Wednesday the 26th because Stoke plays Arsenal on Sunday the 23rd. Stoke also has Newcastle on Monday the 31st, and Europa League games on the 20th and Nov 3rd (Remember, Stoke's legit trying to win that). I can't see anything close to a first XI being thrown at us in the CC.
Oh God that's bleak! Hoping that Stoke are concentrating on Europe and not on us in the League Cup. We dominated the game a few weeks ago I'd hope we get the chance to rectify that result against the strongest possible Stoke team.
How will DeLap do his 5 minute wipe off and toss routine, then? never mind throw the ball in from touch.
Hey yourself! Just dive-bombing the forums for a day or two... ---------- Liverbird asked: "How will DeLap do his 5 minute wipe off and toss routine, then?" It's hard to shake off Astroglide.
Of all the things that annoy me in a game of football I can honestly say hand on my heart and one round his throat in my head that his incessant wiping of the ball is the most annoying thing I can imagine. I just get mad, can you bring on a little plastic thingy like rugby to help you get lift on a free kick? No. Can you move a flag from the corner post when it's in your way taking a corner? No. Can you stop the ref annoying you by running at the side of you as you take a free kick? No! So why in the hell is he allowed a prop to help him send the ball from one side of the pitch to the other and waste time (seriously like 30 seconds each frigging time!) doing so in the process? Just use your shirt like every other player you Muppet. I really hate that man, I really hate that wiping, I really hate that throw-in he does.
Liverpool have confirmed they will travel to Stoke City in the Carling Cup fourth round on Wednesday, October 26. The match at the Britannia Stadium will kick-off at 7.45pm.
