    As could Everton.

Maybe it is just me but I am very unimpressed by the quality of more than half the teams in the league this season.

Hell. Spurs could use Diouf (don't rate Defoe or Pav {anymore}).

Anything outside the top 8 is paticularly poor this year.

But even Liverpool outside of Suarez is poor. Chelsea are poor for the standards they've set lately. We will see when Arsenal get all their players back from injury. Spurs...

    Kind of.

I rate the very pinnacle of La Liga more, but I think the lower top half to mid table in the PL is better.

Snodgrass will tear us a new one.

Very few of the established top half teams are currently firing on all cylinders. There has been too much disruption across the board due to managerial change and a combination of injuries, suspensions, 'pending' transfers and integrating new players.

Even with this terrible start, I think they are with Adebayor on board. The Modric situation is clearly affecting the entire team I think. The deadline, and the international break will do them wonders.

Its not easy facing us and City as your first two games of the year.

I think my point was that even Spurs look pretty poor and not whether they would make the top 8 or not. Given the lack of quality, they should.
