Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread Words cannot express how much I want West Ham to be relegated this season.
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread What's there not to like about West Ham? They try to play attractive football, try give yongsters a chance, have a nice coach (I woanted to say good, but..) and have many good players like - Green, Upson, Diamanti, Parker and Behrami. I can think of many clubs I would rather see relegated like Wolves, Burnley, Blackburn, Hull City and Bolton.
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread That is the thing man. They are struggling to stay up even with so much shit swirling at the bottom of the league. You even forgot Wigan and Portsmouth (a given) but you can take out Blackburn cause they are safe. Even still though that leaves seven teams that are essentially competing for 3 spots.
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread They're a London rival, with a long checkered history vs. the Gunners. Their fans are first class prats, and the last time I was at the Grove I had to witness this: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ek2Y0css4M"]YouTube- Zamora's goal[/ame] They can't get relegated enough times. I want them playing in the southern conference division 2 along side Dragon Arms Tavern United in 6 years.
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread No. I'm an avid fan of the southern conference division 2 league. Proper British footy
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread Yeah but West Ham is truly in the tick of relegation battle. It'll be an interesting one this year, but i'm predicting Pompey, Burnley and West Ham to go. Hull can at least score some goals and win at home, Wolves are finding a bit of form, and Wigan are decent enough to pull a handful of points out of the remaining fixtures. West Ham may just scrape by, but Hull and Burnley won't lose out the season and that 3 point cushion is more like thin ice right now.
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread That's why I said Zola is a nice coach but not necessarily a good coach. They have no business being down there with the talent on that team. It's seems like half of the teams are based out of London. That's not good enough. I know their fans can go overboard, but I haven't experienced it, so *shrug*...plus, sometimes, I find it hard to hold the club responsible for the actions of its fans unless the club supports those actions in some way. There are a lot of crazy people out there.
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread And in the past few years most of them have been relegated, much to my delight
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread Premiership action today Aston Villa v Sunderland Man City v Everton Portsmouth v Chelsea Blackburn v Birmingham Spurs v Fulham (FA CUP)
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread I think B'n'G is slowly but surely falling out of love with the B, and more in love with the G. Now he just has to changed that damn name
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread Great. We get to read more about Zamora for Englerland. On second thought, I'm all for Zamora for England. Come on Bobby!!
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread Well done Zamora then! Chelsea look pretty stunted so far against Pompey. If Portsmouth could hold them to a draw, I'd feel a lot more comfortable rooting for Chavs when it comes to the head to head with ManU.
Re: Cannon Fodder - The Other Teams Thread Wow. David James whiffs his clearance, bouncing a la Robinson, and it rolls straight towards his goal. Drogba. All this after O'Hara got wrecked by Zhirkov and it didn't get flagged.
