Inter? http://www.gazzetta.it/statics/speciali/calciomercato/2002/pp_3.0.724998855.html http://www.inter.it/it/news/10379.html Wow, this would be huge! I'm looking for links in English. Got it: http://www.sportinglife.com/footbal.../08/07/SOCCER_Ita-Cannavaro.html&TEAMHD=italy Althouh all it does is refer to the news off the Inter site.
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...7/ap_wo_en_po/sports_soccer_inter_cannavaro_2 "Inter's technical director Gabriele Oriali announced Cannavaro's transfer, but gave no details. Italian news reports said he had signed a four-year contract, handing Parma a 23 million euro (about dlrs 23 million) transfer fee. " ....and there was much rejoicing.
Nice pickup for Inter. Good return for Parma getting 23m back for him in this depressed transfer market. One could say Inter could recoup the money on this by selling somebody...I wonder who...
yea baby cannavaro u da man oleole inter will win the league this season if they all stay free of injuries!
For now--things can change in a second, of course. Not like Inter in the past has felt the fiscal need to balance their books by selling after buying.
What a huge day for Inter, keeping Ronaldo and signing Cannavaro. Parma's big sell-off/re-building process is just about complete now. There's still some world-class quality (DiVaio, Nakata, Junior, Lamouchi, Frey) though. We'll see if this young team responds to the new coach-Prandelli. Could be fun.
THis is one of the best days for me as an inter fan because they got cannavaro, ronaldo's staying, and we won the moretti cup. I couldn't believe cannavaro came, it's so out of the blue.
