Can Soccer AND Football Work In Ottawa?

    You are not mentionning that the team was made up at the last minute, that there was a change of ownership and name one month before the season began, that the team had the worst record in CanAm and that the weather was terrible all summer long...

    Other than that, it went pretty well ;-)

    You have to keep in mind because a city is bigger does not alwas mean more support.You have some smaller cities that there is not much to do so yes they go to a baseball game.In ottawa there is a good amount of stuff to do.As for no competing team that really is not true.

    Ottawa Fury (Womens/Mens)
    Ottawa Swans (Rugby)
    Ottawa Harlequns (Rugby)
    Nepean Knights (Lacrosse)
    Gloucester griffins (lacrosse)
    Ottawa Deacons (semi-pro football)

    With all of that said yes it would be nice if ottawa got better support.But as i said sometime biggers cities do not get more support because there is more things to do.As with the above team no they don't get huge crowds but they are ottawa summer teams.
