http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/7...s-Officially-Announced-Coming-November-9.html The official website is live - http://www.callofduty.com/blackops/ - but nothing on there to see really.
very interesting find .... just read the story and it mentions the word 'treyarch' so it'll be interesting to see what they can do. world at war wasn't bad, but I thought they made some mistakes with the tanks, for example. of course, they were limited in what they could do by the WWII time frame and it's limited technology. it was a good game overall though (mainly just talking multiplayer)
some info on the game and a trailer: http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plugged-in/next-call-of-duty-game-revealed/1397976
I'll be skipping this one as per usual. With all of the Infinity Ward chaos it might be no more COD for me.
I'm intrigued - hence why I started this thread - but I'm more looking forward to the new MoH, personally.
then why does the chaos at Infinity Ward matter? it's not like the game got pulled from them ... not sure I understood your post.
It is not made by Infinity Ward and I have never fully enjoyed the Treyarch games by comparison, notably online. Since quite a lot of the main players have moved to Respawn with more likely to follow them it leaves a lot of questions surrounding the next Infinity Ward game. Therefore MW2 might be the last Call of Duty game I play.
what word would you prefer? I enjoyed the game, played it a lot. so since fun doesn't do it for you, what would?
I play a lot of games that are merely fun. It is the lowest common denominator. It does not make them any good overall.
we have different definitions. the only reason I play a game is to have fun. the games I play are the ones I have fun playing. the best games are the ones that are the most fun to play. do you play games that AREN'T fun?
And if it's not fun, can it be considered a game? Or for that matter, can you play it? If it doesn't give you enjoyment, why would you voluntarily perform those actions?
