Snowflakes of California, let us become a blizzard so intense we disrupt this fascist administration and it's evil minions to the point of total inefficacy!

Not to mention that only Southern California uses Colorado River water, and it's nowhere near their largest source.

Ooh, look at this guy, with his "science" and his "endoheric basins" and all that. Dammit, we're California, we can do anything.

We'll need all of them to have a chance. I think the magic number is 24. A lot of the competitive R seats right now are unfortunately in places like the Midwest and the rural Northeast. Basically Trump country. California has the largest concentration of favorable must win races.

California is a hellscape of drought, forest fires, earthquakes, mudslides and botched plastic surgery. It'll come back.

Brilliant. Which means we'll be stuck with the current 8 forever. Or until one of those old geezers kicks off, in which case we'll have an odd number again and everything will be great, LOL.

Outside of the shore & river flooding, natural disasters aren't that common.

If you think CC is a snivelling toadie, imagine the snivelling toadie who told him looked OK like that.

Nice camel toe, btw - I wish I could un-see it.

The republicans point was always that the Obama administration had already appointed two justices, and the ideological balance of the court should not be shifted for the foreseeable future (lifetime appointments and all) with an appointment in the waning months of a two term presidents term, no? If clinton had won, the republicans would then have NO reason to object to Garland. If this is that unreasonable and unprecedented than you don't need to frame the argument with no context do you?

I.e. "WE SHOULD BLOCK HIS NOMINATION FOR 4 YEARS OMG LOL!!"

So what Mr Lieu is proposing would not be the same thing at all would it?

For the record, I don't agree with that the Republicans did and believe Garland should have at least had hearings, but I also don't believe Supreme Court appointments should be lifetime appointments. This is a big part of the problem.

Chris Christie is so fat & lazy...

How fat & lazy is he?

That he flew a state helicopter to his son's baseball game and took his governor's SUV across the field to watch. True story.

I was looking for Mitch McConnell quote, but they did talk about it, maybe it was just politics for votes.

There won't be a block for 4 years, it would mean the GOP going nuclear (with approval of their base) or waiting until the 2018 elections to see who gets punished, it could help the GOP get to 60 seats.
