Better get ready to open up your checkbook. In California it's pay to play. But hey, the Raiders are leaving, so things are looking up!
Maybe the Raiders can join up with the Chargers in LA and save us the trouble of having to attend two funerals!

California considering cutting off federal tax flows in retaliation for Trump's attack on sanctuary cities https://t.co/pk2TCj17k0 pic.twitter.com/GVhrN52dkM— ryan cooper (@ryanlcooper) January 30, 2017 The viability of this is very much in question. And it's not lost on me that they dug up Willie Brown to speak about it on the record. But it's interesting.
I hope this California vs. Trump thing doesn't start eclipsing the battles Democrats are waging in the other 49 states. We don't need California to become an avatar for the entire country. They're a big state with a very progressive government so they'll be able to defend themselves better than most. California should be leveraging its inherent advantages to empower the national resistance.
Not to worry. Canada is sending food supplies in the form of poutine, cheese curds and fries. Doctors Without Borders have been alerted and will fly in with a Flying Boxcar full of Pepto-Bismol. Everyone will feel good again!
No! We are building our own wall to keep the other 49 states out, and we'll make the other 49 states pay for it.

CA-10: Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) CA-21: David Valadao (R-Hanford) CA-25: Steve Knight (R-Palmdale) CA-39: Ed Royce (R-Fullerton) CA-45: Mimi Walters (R-Irvine) CA-48: Dana Rohrabacher (R-Costa Mesa) CA-49: Darrell Issa (R-Vista) Sadly, CA-04 is not among them.
Hell, we've already got the entry stations, the workers will just have to be trained to say something other than "Are you carrying any fruit?"
Some time back, I came up with a plan to conquer Cascadia and reroute the Columbia River into Lake Tahoe. That will solve our water problems for a while. Someone pointed out that Lake Tahoe is at like 5000 feet elevation, and it's impossible to get that much water flowing uphill like that, but whatever, we're California, if we can make internets and electric cars and profitable movies starring Adam Sandler, we can figure out how to get a river to flow up a mountain.
