still the second best Portuguese coach in the world You realize hater posts like this just discredit Amorims work right?
Will Amorim flop when he leaves for a big team? Could suffer from players not respecting him because he wasnt a good player and his age. He deserves much more plaudits for what he’s doing worldwide than he currently gets. I believe he would have won the league with Braga too had he started
No it’s not . Amorims deserves all the credit in the world. Perhaps with a better coach than JJ we may have lost anyways but not this badly at home and by a Sporting team that was missing two of their better players . JJ was badly out coached and the sad thing is that he does not even know it. Playing 3 in the back against this team ? Really ?! And then does not realize this as a mistake at half time and continues with three in the back and we allow two more goals in the second Half . At this point I would gladly have the Vitoria coach heading up Benfica . Hell I wish we had the coach that we fired and replaced with JJ . I know I’m posting out of frustration but I never liked JJ .
He is being recognized internationally . There are many eyes on our league for both players and coaches. He is being considered for the Man U job and deserves it . Not only is he a great coach but he also displays great class
Bruno lage On 29 June 2020, Lage made his position available after equalising Benfica's worst ever series of results – 2 wins in 13 matches in the 2000–01 season[22][23] – and establishing a record of 5 consecutive matches without a win at Estádio da Luz, which included defeats to Braga and Santa Clara. Rui Vitoria https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017–18_UEFA_Champions_League_group_stage#Group_A I rest my case
yes and that was with the players he had and JJ said he would not coach Benfica unless they purchase players . Why did they not purchase players for Bruno ? Now Bruno (with better players) has his team in sixth place in EPL .
Good luck to Porto and Sporting. I know we are rivals but having our teams do well in CL only helps our league. Not to mention much needed funds to make our teams healthier and stronger to compete in Europe. Yes its a strange feeling wanting Porto and Sporting win lol lol but sometimes its about the big picture that is important
Hahahahahahahaha what a massive cagao in coming for porcos had all the play missed so many chances AM go up the other end to tap a goal in at the back post hahahahahahahahahahaha
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha 0-3 what a massive cagao Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Simeone took conceicaos pants down and took him from behind like the old all days back in the Lazio changing rooms
But I must say porcos red card was soft if they had the man advantage they might of gone and tied the game
Such a sad game and such an undeserved win by ATM. 1- ever since Taremi got into a stupid and needless dispute with Iran's NT coach, he has been in a slump. He hasn't scored pretty much since being left off of Iran's national team. But his presence on the field helps Porto and whenever he is subbed, Porto becomes worst. That was totally obvious against Milan and while tonight's meltdown at the end wasn't exactly for that reason, Porto made too many substitutions when patience would have seen Porto equalize eventually. 2- the referee really sucked.
It’s funny how Porto cagoued against the club and team that is arguably even scummier than they are. Atletico Madrid fans are the scum of Spain as well. Estadio do Cagao strikes again
As much as I despite Taremi for his gamesmanship, he is a good player. Irans coach sounds like a idiot. Bring back Failroz!
The problem between Taremi and our coach wasn't about his playing form; Taremi was involved in 70% of our goals and always played the full 90 minutes under our coach. It had to do with a post by Taremi on twitter that contradicted our coach and other stuff that showed Taremi didn't respect our coach despite his excellent record since taking over Iran's NT. It was basically Taremi's fault, most likely under the influence of one of his best buddies who our coach (admittedly w/o any clear or legitimate reason) has dropped from our NT. That said: the Portuguese coach I actually like for our NT isn't Queiroz but Conceicaos. He is a bit too emotional and erratic at times, but he has a squad worth a fraction compared to its CL opponents play a very impressive pressing style that makes them (Porto's CL opponents) often look rubbish. Too bad he sometimes reacts too harshly to things that aren't going his way ...
