CADE HAGAN #8 PLAYER PROFILE Date of Birth: March 14th, 2002 Position: Hometown: Naperville , IL Nationality: United States Very happy to announce that I’ve signed with @RealSporting I’d like to thank my family, friends, teammates and coaches for helping me reach this point in my career. Ready to put in the work. I am still eligible for college. pic.twitter.com/LmJDDjyHEU— ❌•Cade Hagan•❌ (@HaganCade) February 10, 2019 Real Sporting de Gijón is in the 2nd tier of Spanish football. As he is not yet 18, we have to assume he has an EU passport. He has had caps with USYNT squads: https://www.ussoccer.com/players/h/cade-hagan
He doesn't play for Sporting Juvenil, he plays at SD Llano. SD llano (10th on the table) and Sporting Juvenil B (1st on the table) Juvenil Nacional in a Relegation and promotion system. This means at this stage in the season, AD Llano has no chance to win the league and qualify for promotion pay offs. Sporting Juvenil A plays in Division e Honor (Top tier). Best of luck to him https://www.realsporting.com/mareo/futbol-base/juvenil-b/juvenil-b
SD Llano is a formative club with no senior team, These types of teams are good for foreign players to adapt to the European level and increase their football intelligence https://www.futbolenasturias.com/verclub.php?idclub=580
Snip: With his new club in the middle of the season, Hagan’s slated to play out the bulk of the current campaign with SD Llano, a partner club of Gijon. It wasn’t the first club to offer him a deal. When the opportunity to move was first on the table, Hagan went to another club first. “I had an offer from Rayo Vallecano as well and I trained with Rayo for a few weeks and Sporting for a few weeks,” he said. “Both offered me a spot last summer and I just felt more comfortable at Sporting." https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/club-soccer-articles/pro-prospects:-hagan-settling-in-spain_aid45941
1117143420781436928 is not a valid tweet id So I guess he's with Gijon after all? Or maybe he moves between them depending on whether it's a league or exhibition game?
This was some tournament so I think he was moved to Gijon. I have no clue about when or why he moves teams, however.
Profile: https://secondcitysoccer.com/2019/0...-hagans-journey-to-the-doorstep-of-the-elite/ Hagan lit up the Spanish youth ranks at a local tournament in the north of the European country, scoring four goals and assisting in the fifth of five scored by Spanish second-division club Sporting Gijon’s under-19 team in their 5-0 victory last Saturday. “This year, my dad decided he had to move out to Spain for two years for work and I came along with him and joined Sporting. The experience at Sporting has been phenomenal so far,” said Hagan.
Apparently he came back from Spain and now he's back with Sockers. He scored the winning goal for Sockers against Philadelphia recently.
It seems '02 US U17 W Cade Hagan is back in Gijón. TopDrawerSoccer had mentioned that he would be going back there after returning stateside to play for Sockers in the DA playoffs.— ChuckMe92 Soccer (@ChuckMe92Soccer) August 29, 2019
Here's the TDS article from earlier this month: https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/clu...ng-americans-in-europe-preview:-pt-2_aid46519 Forward Cade Hagan made the move to Sporting Gijon on an academy deal earlier this year, and after returning to compete in the Development Academy playoffs this summer, is once again heading back to Spain. He’s another 2002 that is eligible for this year’s U17 World Cup.
Sorry guy but No sign that Cade Hagan is actually at Sporting the Gijon official roster: Juvenil A, nothing https://www.realsporting.com/mareo/futbol-base/juvenil-a-dh/juvenil-a Juvenil B Nothing- https://www.realsporting.com/mareo/futbol-base/juvenil-b/juvenil-b Cadete A nothing- https://www.realsporting.com/mareo/futbol-base/cadetes-a/cadete-a Cadete B nada- https://www.realsporting.com/mareo/futbol-base/cadete-b/cadete-b
He's now listed as a freshman at Pitt, which at this moment is whomping Duquesne in their season opener. Just turned it on, no idea if he's played. https://pittsburghpanthers.com/sports/mens-soccer/roster/cade-hagan/11598 One of his teammates is a GK whose father also played the position with some degree of success. I'll leave it to you to figure it out.
