I want to go to a few games that I don't have tickets to - namely Argentina v Korea and the first two USA games. Do you think there will be an opportunity to buy tickets outside the stadiums? I know that the price is going to be high for sold-out games, but I would pay quite a bit. I am not concerned with the names on tickets as checking names would be a logistical nightmare. Also not too concerned with the morality of it, so please keep all of those inevitable comments at home Anyone have experience in 2006 with this? Thanks! Sol
excellent question, I'm in the same boat (desire to attend some games I don't have tix too) and I'm thinking it's a fair assumption that there will be many tickets for sale outside every stadium. Prices shouldn't be too skyrocketed as some would surely want to unload the tickets for something instead of getting nothing out of them, no?
my opinion, based on comparing world cups, is that there will be tickets easily available for games of countries that don't bring many fans. They will be relatively cheap. I would expect to pay $50-100. There will be loads of Cat tkts. Eng USA is diff as they are the 2 biggest supported teams. Have u not checked FIFA as they have been selling all these games at different periods for over a month now
Guys, this thread has become a magnet for touts so I'm going to close it. The trade thread exists for established BigSoccer posters who want to swap tickets, but we want to keep scalpers off the boards.
