I don't see why people think Gore would so easily win the election. He's just as polarizing as Hillary methinks. And after Jeb won't Chelsea be old enough!?
I've been making this joke for years. Anyway, let's assume that Hillary wins in 2008, then loses to Jeb in 2012. Jeb then gets the full two terms. Then a 40 year old Chelsea Clinton-Kennedy (there's got to be a Kennedy she can marry, right?) wins in 2020, again getting the full two terms. That would give us a 40 year span of two families ruling America, and we could finally put aside the notion that we're an actual democracy to boot. Good times, good times.
Personally, I think he's too smart to run. Whoever wins next year is going to have eight years' worth of shit to clean up.
After dubya, I am guessing that barney has as good a shot as any other bush (including jeb) of getting the nod.
Yes, it sucks. What made me mad was when this question was (FINALLY!!!) asked to Hillary in the YouTube debate. Her response: "I thought it unfortunate George W. Bush won in 2000."
Do you want them to produce the Kwisatz Haderach a generation early? The plan is for Chelsea Clinton-Kennedy's daugher to marry Feyd-Rautha Bush (the genetically crafted son of the Bush twins) and deliver a son who will merge with a sandworm and rule for four thousand years.
Well, then there the Bush twins. Doesn't Jeb have kids? Who knows, perhaps Chelsea will spit out one and we can pretty near run the two families into the 22th. century.
Unless they change the law preventing naturalized citizen's from running for president, then we're looking at Arnold-mania. If they don't change the law, I'm sure Arnold will crawl up into a large American woman's vagina and crawl out waving an American flag and eating apple pie if he really wants to be Prez.
There aren't enough Clintons to be a royal family. They'll be the ultimate POWER COUPLE. Of all time. The Bushes could have been one of America's greatest families, but I can't imagine people looking back fondly on this Presidency. They're well-connected and disciplined enough to keep being serious players, though.
I really just can't understand Al Gore. He doesn't strike me as wimpy, but I just can't figure out why he hasn't run. It makes no sense.
You do know that had or if he had pulled Iraq off, history would be very kind to him. Course, if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their butts.
Maybe he doesn't want to. Maybe he wants to concentrate on other things. Maybe he feels like he'll be more effective teaching people about climate change if he doesn't have to deal with the 800 million other things that a POTUS has to deal with.
