v Ok, let's do this. It's a good thing the next come is almost upon us to save from wallowing in self-pity and recriminations. I think Can, Grujić, Origi and Matip will play a significant part in this one.
ring the changes but keep some strong players. ----------Migs------------- Trent---Lovren--Matip--Moreno ------Grujic---Can------ Milner-----Wij-------Marko -------Origi---- Bench - Manninger, Klavan, Brannagan, Ings, Clyne, Coutinho, Stewart
Yep. A strong team-- there aren't any easy games anymore. That looks like players in proper positions, too, 'terp.
Reading Klopp's press conference, it doesn't seem we'll be seeing a team like that. He's said there'll be changes but not 7 or 8.
Nothing. He should be sacked. #BwingBackWoy Hell - Stan Collymore certainly isn't sold on Klopp, so it must be true. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ws/liverpool-boss-jurgen-klopp-above-11784106
Burton Albion's eight-year ascent from the Conference to the Champiomship is a great story, and I hope it continues. Just not tomorrow. TAW Player had a reporter from the Burton newspaper who said that Clough will not park the bus, but rather will try to attack. If so, well, don't look for a result like the Burnley game.
Glad we have a quick turnaround for this match. We have no reason to not pursue the cups with "extreme prejudice." Matip in for Klavan. Moreno for Milner. Grujic and Can for Hendo and Lallana. Origi up front for Studge.
migs clyne.. matip.. lovren.. moreno stewart.. grujic.. firmino.. gini.. milner origi... mange, TAA, klavan, randall, ings, woodburn, coutinho, can no marko, sturridge, lallana in the provisional squad.
Let's hope the team was embarrassed by their last outcome and puts in a good shift this time. Was attending a birthday party during the Sat Burnley game, and in all honesty didn't really want to watch the DVR recording. I did and wow... so many slow rolling passes out of the back. No one really covered themselves in glory, but Henderson and Milner looked particularly out of sorts. I'd really like to see how this team plays in the 4-3-3 with Karius in goal. Mignolet just doesn't seem to have any confidence controlling his box and doesn't seem to communicate well at all with his defenders. While Clyne gave up the bad pass on the first goal, the whole series got started with an ill-considered pass out of the back by Migs. Anyway, let's hope the team picks it up and ties one on this game. If not, people are going to start to sense blood in the water and that'd be a shame, since I actually think if Klopp and Co. can sort out the issues with the screening midfielder position, that we'll have a pretty good platform to push on this season.
Also no Henderson... didn't even make the bench. Perhaps not surprising after Saturday's performance, but still... team captain doesn't make the bench.
