cover the results like mine. The mods get upset when you reveal a score other than the appropriate thread.

Munich still in attack... Ballack and Makaay with shots wide.
This team can turn it on in twenty minutes time... that is what Scholl and Guerraro gives this attack!

Offsides or not, it sounds like Munich was due, and would have banged the ball home eventually.

Actually, I think we are one point behind Wolfsburg. This was a badly needed victory on two fronts:

    a) keeps the pressure on the leaders in the Bundesliga.
    b) kills the "trend"/curse mentioned previously in this post.

Bravo Magath! Bravo Guerraro! Bravo FCB!!!!!
    (I'm hyperventalating at this point)

EXTREMELY LUCKY for Bayern. The score is far too flattering.
First half was a bore fest. Second half Bayern came to life after Bochum scored from a Makaay blunder (no one will blame Makaay though because he has saved this team's ass plenty of times). Good to see Guerrero cementing a place in the Bayern team, he brings some fresh energy to the team.
First goal was lucky, second goal was even luckier as the linesman was blind. Guerrero was so obviously offside. Last goal was one of the funniest own goals I have ever seen, Christoph Preuss tried to kick the ball away but instead it rebounded off a team mates face and into the goal.
Overall poor display by Bayern, today it was luck.

Ok i know I shouldnt say this... But what the hell is wrong with Makaay? he has been crap and fruitless lately, whats the friggin matter? I know benching him would be as horrible a thought as benching Ballack, but this is getting really tight on some matches.

Now that is the Boxes I remember! I was beginning to wonder after so many cheerful posts whether your pessimism was waning... fear not... he's back! ;)

It is always good to hear from a true fan who watched the game... not that we all hear aren't true fans... quite to the contrary. It is just that the ticker is so matter of fact and there is never any sense of what is "actually" happening on the pitch. Thanks for the honest words.

With all that being said, lets face it... GOOD TEAMS GET LUCKY. It just is a simply fact. They put themselves in a position to "get lucky". Today might not have been one of the better displays, but nonetheless effective and desparately needed. It says to others that even when Bayern are at their worst, they can still find a result. (Okay, well, from no on anyways... I hope!)

Better things are on the horizon my friends. Cheers.
