That fight for second place and promotion could go down to the last matchday perhaps.

Lisanne Gräwe extends her current contract with Frankfurt until summer 2027.

And this makes a lot of sense for Frankfurt, as Gräwe's seen a level of accelerated development over this season, to make a lot of stronger clubs start to pay attention to her elite level potential...:cautious:

Well, Lattwein just had knee surgery, and is set to miss weeks/months of games for Wolfsburg.

And I doubt Wolfsburg wanted anymore signs confirming their mid-field depth is ridiculously weak, but this news surely has to put it into Kellermann's mind now, his club needs to recruit TWO genuine CM's for next season...:coffee:

Stroots resistance to using Demann continuing to confuse... now they'll only have Oberdorf as a real CM/DM, with Hagel, Huth, Xhemaili, being various level quality of CAM. It basically guarantees Wolfsburg system this season sticking to a 4-1-4 formation...:cautious:

LOL... I'm sure absolutely nothing of any significance was said in this video...

We all know Oberdorf moving to their closest domestic rival, would produce questions of the players professionalism for the rest of the season.

But seeing how the concerning overweight Oberdorf has finally got back to full fitness now, I don't see why her motivation to win/play for the rest of the season would ever be in doubt right now...

I saw someone mention a very valid point on the stagnation from Brand, where they proposed the reasons for struggling to recapture her prior impressive Hoffenheim form, all coming from the simple fact she in fact a forward, not a winger...

And the reason this made a lot of sense to me, is knowing how Brand would thrive within Hoffenheim's 4-3-3 where she literally a wide forward, not using typical wing play in her attacking movements.

Even when she'd shine for Germany on her wnt debut Vs Australia, she'd make most of her movements like a forward.. not a winger. Leaving me wondering if this really the reason why Wolfsburg, and wnt coaches, continue to try and push her into a CAM role...

She's definitely not a winger, that was plainly obvious during the World Cup and in the few Wolfsburg games I've watched live at the stadium.

During the WC, to the overall detriment of the teams shape, MVT just allowed Brand to roam wherever she wanted; and this simply never going to happen while she plays for Wolfsburg.

Meaning without her being part of a 4-3-3, or something more unique like the narrow attacking systems used by Bayern, and Frankfurt, we're left wondering if Brand can adapt her game, or learn how to be a winger (she could still do this).

Being within the top % of the games fastest female players, but outright refusing to run into wide spaces to create for others... like you say, it's become plainly obvious whatever Brand is, it simply isn't a winger, as she lacks any basic understanding of the role right now...:speechless:

    Bühl ------------- Popp --- Pajor ----------- Endemann/SJJ
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ---------------- Lattwein ------- Oberdorf -----------------------
I'm convinced Bühl scores around 15 league goals and still brings double digit assists if she's part of this Wolfsburg attack.

But then I place Brand into Bayern's attack to get this..
    ----------------- Harder ---------------- Schüller --------------------
    ------- Brand --------------------------------------------- Dallmann ------
    --------------------- Zadrazil --------- Stanway ---------------------------
A Brand who doesn't score, or assists in a hugely impressive rate, as this version of Bayern has a system all about it's FB's creating chances. But her general effectiveness would likely become significantly improved with this approach to attack...

And what's more crazy, is if you place Brand within Frankfurt's goofy attacking system you get this...
    -------- Anyomi ----------------------------------- Prašnikar --------
    ----------------------------- Freigang -----------------------------
    -------------- Dunst --------------------------- Brand -----------------
    ------------------------------- Gräwe -------------------------------
    &
    -------- Anyomi ----------------------------------- Brand --------
    ----------------------------- Prašnikar -----------------------------
    -------------- Dunst --------------------------- Freigang -----------------
    ------------------------------- Gräwe -------------------------------
Why does this make so much more sense now lol...

Could we finally see Frankfurt ready adapt their system towards integrating genuine width...o_O Zicai 100% without a doubt a winger. Why would Frankfurt be showing interest in such a player, if they had no thoughts of what extra dimensions wingers would provide to their attack.

And if this truly the situation, I'm thinking Purtscheller has to on Frankfurt's radar...:sneaky:

So no Lattwein, or Oberdorf, starting for Wolfsburg Vs Hoffenheim...o_O Yeah.... Hoffenheim typically a tough task for Wolfsburg, might be a whole lot harder if things don't go their way today lol...:cautious:

Bayern play on Saturday in Frankfurt. Resting Dallmann is enough to win in Jena.

Kossler & Hickelberger not back in form for Hoffenheim. Krumbiegel looking miserable on defense, Brand been burning her mercilessly on the left flank
