Lohmann incorrectly ruled offside in the build up to it. Bayern probably win 2-1 if it was allowed to stand... but seeing how they'd play during the 2nd half, it could have also seen another 2-2 like the collapse Vs Roma...

No.... he won't be fired, because Wolfsburg are in an even worse condition right now, basically guaranteeing this man his job for a 3rd season, as long as this team retain the league title.

 

Roma and Ajax both looking like teams with a better tactical shape in how they attempt to defend and attack; it makes it all the more shocking to see how poor PSG continue to look this season, after I felt their match Vs Lyon during early season league play, in my opinion the highest quality of female European club football witnessed this season...

And now if Roma win tonight, Bayern will likely need to win away from home twice, versus Roma, and Ajax... on this latest evidence, this being a very tough task...

 

It's funny listening to Straus continue to brain wash people into believing his version of Bayern, something far greater than it actually is..

The excuse now is his team suffering major injuries, which prevents us from witnessing their very best form.... Yet even if Harder part of this team, I still don't see them being substantially better than they are right now.

No consistent width coming from wide forwards already a major flaw from last seasons team, and now it's become even more exasperated this season with Straus completely removing a 3rd CM to help Zadrazil - Stanway control the mid-field battle.

Twice now, Bayern not able to win at home, due to their mid-field having zero ability to control the flow of games. A group stage exit could easily happen, with the new excuse already set up to be UWCL competition simply much higher lol.

 

Hey... like the Roma 2-2 draw, the 1-1 Vs Ajax tonight is as good as Bayern deserved...


If Bayern won, that would have been fair too, as they did score a perfectly good goal that was unfairly ruled out. But Vs Roma, Bayern also benefited from a clear offside not being called... so maybe karma balances all things in the end..?

 

@blissett If Roma get through, pray it's in 1st place, as this season I've personally seen nobody look close to matching the quality of play coming from Barca, or Lyon...

 

If you told Straus his team able to beat Barca 3-0 at home last season, he'd call you a liar, and then ask if Stanway scored all 3 goals...

ALL 3 goals Vs Barcelona coming from fast transitions and crosses into the box, but also featuring a world class display from Lohmann as the teams 3rd CM.

To see the continued regression in Bayern general play makes ZERO sense, as all the tools to succeed in Europe are still at the club...
