Efrain is still very young. For him to be on the NT at this stage goes to show the kid has talent. Still has plenty of years to grow and develop better as a player. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him abroad in the next 2-3 years

Efrain looked ok first half and awful the 2nd half but I understand he’s young.

Lettuce be real, at this point he should be nowhere near this Selecion.

Efrain Alvarez is a weird choice, he's not even good enough to be a starter in a Liga MX side.

Efra Alvarez wasnt that bad compared to Caca Rodriguez ( different positions I know ) Roberto DeLaRosa is better tho
Mexico's depleted bench after 4th substitution worrisome

Tbf, a lot of the guys that would’ve been on the bench are in Japan.

Still, zero excuse for tying T&T.

What are you talking zero excuses? Things like what happened to Chucky hits you. Denmark looked great all tournament but they lost to Finland. And eventhough the Eriksen thing was more serious, it also happened because of something that had no action. Lozano got injured by a foul that wasn't called with a ref that wasn't calling anything. So not only you have something that happened to your teammate but the possibility that Trinidad would keep fouling since the ref wouldn't protect you at all. They had everything against (plus a dubious offside call that I thought was onside) them and you can't take anything away from that game. It might be true that Mexico can't still get past the bunker but you can't get anything from that game especially when everyone was worried about things (people in BSMX thread were talking about him being paralyzed).

It also was just a weird ass game. Hit the bar 2-3 times, their keeper was on point, everything, every bounce went their way. That happens sometimes, and it can happen against anyone, even T&T.

And the ref ignored a second penalty on Corona.

You forgot a couple of the most glaring things.

The ref was the worst I’ve seen and VAR is a joke if you don’t use it when you should.

I wasn't on the Chaka-hating bandwagon but the reality is he didn't have a great game. Should be wide open for Kevin Alvarez to start but I don't think it'll happen.

Correct what? Rafa had just posted a lengthy paragraph about the Chucky injury and the ref. That's why I said also and brought up another part of the picture people weren't really talking about. You're such an fn loser.

Wow, interesting. As a 1st generation American I feel way more at home with Mexicans from Mexico than I do with Americans several generations deep in this country.

    Same here

Those players probably feel the same way. Atmosphere surrounding the Nads must a different vibe than what they are used to
