    Well, we had one successful get-together last year at TO Devils' place for a Portugal WC qualifying match, and I had this idea bandied about with some other posters:

    We have a high number or posters that live in the greater Toronto area that post in this forum. Instead of getting together to watch a match, why not get together to actually play a match? There is a bevy of parks that we can meet at, and Lord knows that there are enough posters in here from the same area that we may even have the numbers for an XI x XI match. Hey, I am not the best on the pitch (I am a much better arm-chair coach :eek: ) but I would love to get onto the field and get my legs going. So, who's in? This would be the best opportunity for some of you to tackle your favourite posters :rolleyes: like TO Devils or GoodDead à la Deco on Heitinga!!! If interested, please respond to this thread with a simple "Yeah, I'm in!". Afterwards, it would be really cool to go out for some cerveja and frangos, so perhaps some park in the Toronto area would be suffice where there are so many churrasqueiras , but whatever the case may be, let's see if we could get this done.

    So, without further ado, who's in?!?!?! :)

    I am in.....and if you want to know what type of player i am.....i would say Benfica's very own Beto!!!:D So bring a helmet!!

    I'm definitely interested in something like this, but with my crazy work schedule it might be tough. We need to throw around some dates and times so I can plan ahead.

    I haven't played for quite a while so take it easy on me :D.

    I was thinking a weekend, obviously. In July we've got July 15 & 16, 22 & 23, or 29 & 30...

    my schedule is pretty hectic but a weekend date in advance would be nice.

    Name the place guys. Ill start making ice now for the beer cooler. At my age, I need a muscle relaxent to play sports.:D I find beer does nicely.:D

    Someone has definitely got to take photos of this "friendly." I want to see a picture of each starting eleven like they do before each match with the front players squating and the back standing up.

    That 2!!! I have a video camera, i can ask the wife to film it. I also think we should have a paramedic team on site!!!

    you know what'd be dirty, is if we found bs posters on a different countries forum to play against, ie BS Portugal vs BS Netherlands.....or even BS England? hell even Joelz would fly down for that shit

    For 10 euros and a line of coke, you could probably subdue Mario Jardel to go to Canada and play in the game, quick, before he actually signs a contract with Beira-Mar... please... :eek:
