I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if he gets minutes. Perhaps if Roma were up by two or more goals, he might get garbage time minutes to dip his toes in European futbol.
Agreed on the thread title but I think that’s not in the game day match forum. Good to see Reynolds on the bench. I’m sure he will get his time soon and do well. Watching mid-table Italian football is a tough go (way to many appeals for fouls) but I support the Yanks.
Thanks for starting this thread. I've changed it so it fits with the current pattern (we'll use this to include all of Reynolds matches, with the possible exception coming if/when some creates a free-standing thread for a match that involves him playing against another YA). I hope that's okay and I apologize for doing this without letting you know ahead of time. Edit: Also, I've created a standing link to this thread in the Guide thread that's stickied at the top of the Game Day Forum.
Looks like a RWB role ahead of a three man back line, getting very far upfield in attack with the 2-0 deficit.
I was tracking on my phone, while watching the Ireland Scotland rugby match. As soon as I saw it, it was over to the Roma match for his debut.
Announcer savaging Reynolds for not getting to the ball in the offensive box for the second time - when he was not even the closest player on his own team a second time. Bizarrely critical of Reynolds 15 minutes into his club career.
Forces a corner. Working with Peres, who has chosen to go inside with the ball the majority of the time. Attack seems to building in his area though.
Bright side - if this result holds, it's very helpful for Juventus trying to hold its Champions League spot, if the Serie A face is close to over.
