I don't follow womens football as closely as you do so I had to do a bit of research. She is still pretty young, only 21 years old so could still have a big future. She is currently playing in the W League here for Sydney FC. Not sure how she fits in the coaches forward plans but the forwards picked ahead of her all play in Europe and she may need to do that as well to cement a spot in the national team. The W league only has 12 rounds followed by a final series and isn't really a professional standard at the moment.
In the end we had a grand total of 7 goals and a match that was thrilling until the last possible minute. Not bad compared to the depressing 0-0 draw these teams had showcased at group stage. Was this probably Lloyd and Rapinoe's swan song?
