In true flamboyant fashion Chope showed indiference at being told that our country's first opponent in the hex will be non other than the land of burning poopchutes and chimichangas. :D

Maybe its because he knew the question was dumb as hell since the first game will be at CR...hey but you were right about the first game being in the land of double digit IQ's and diseased prostitutes...

Hermanos, this is what I absolutely love about futbol and sports in general. I just love it when it brings out the best in people (insert biting but still respectful sarcasm here, please).

Insulting countries is not cool... But you already knew that. Let's just support our teams and show some class. And if you see me making the same mistake sometime--coz nobody likes their country being disrespected and we are all human, we fire back--please remind me how uncool it is.

    Mucho respeto a Mexico lindo.

    Tu patria.

En español y apoyando a Lima.

    ;)

Chimichangas aren't a true Mexican food when it comes to popularity. That's just a slightly humorous/completely naive misconception.

I prefer flautas con salsa verde.

You can take a black kid from East Baltimore, teach him Spanish and he can live in el barrio latino for years and years (se tiene que defender--me comprendes, Mendez? The demographics changed drastically, just like my mom predicted years before anyone else was ever even talking about it being a possibility). But a Brutha has still got to roll to with the home team. At least this one does. :)

So being mistaken for a "foreigner" (by both homeboys and los hermanos latinos) on the same exact block that I was born more times than I can count has helped motivate me to try strive to respect everyone and every country. When you support USA soccer as long as I have, especially living where I live, you know what it is like to constantly be disrespected. Don't get me wrong. I'm not perfect. I said "striving"; I still have a long way to go.

Now that I have bored everyone to death (where's my homeboy chapin, Guategol with his "zzzzzzz's when I need him)... Sorry, but I gotta reprezent sometimes just like everyone else. ;)

Returning to the point of the thread, Yeah, Bring on Mexico, Costa Rica and all our other rivals. USA will only become the best by beating the best.

Costa Rica, USA, GUATEMALA and who ever feels tough enough to face us, go eject, take your best shot, but then end we all know how much better Mexico is and all of you will be shitting in your pants when the time comes to face the best and greates team in Concacaf. When we beat Costa Rica 4-0 I'm going to come back at laugh and spit at you all who think that any of your ************ teams are better than Mexico, which is impossible.

I think you been smokin some good stuff clown

IN WCQ history We have tied you three times and beaten you TWICE.

s how are you so much better than us??

get ur head out of ur culo cholo.

Ok BigTico. It's just that a lot of times some folks here ARE REALLY INSULTING "PATRIAS".

Maybe I misunderstood what was all just good natured ball-busting.
My bad. I guess I'm just too sensitive at times...

If last WCQ had had only one slot, it would have been for CR, who finished FirsT.

Do you know when was the last time MEX scored AT CR in a WCQ_???

And did we forget the playoff game against Guatemala?

Or what about the barely making it to the Hex this time around?

How come CR hasnt even won a Gold Cup? Even Canada has won a Gold Cup.

you just answered your own question

and again in wcq's we HAVE TIED YOU THREE TIMES AND !!!!!BEATEN YOU TWICE!!!!!

what does that say about you?

it doesn't matter what happened in earlier years we are taking about in recent years and the present.

to compare any team to what they were 20 years ago is stupid.

and again in wcq's we HAVE TIED YOU THREE TIMES AND !!!!!BEATEN YOU TWICE!!!!!

who went to France and who stayed home? Who qualified with games to spare and was able to draw game?

what does that say about you?

It says that Mexico can scrape the bottom of the barrel, use 3 coaches, and 2 different teams, have a pathetic showing and still qualify and that Costa Rica has to be head above water to qualify.

it doesn't matter what happened in earlier years we are taking about in recent years and the present.

recent was Gold Cup and that friendly in Carson, but Steve didnt treat it as a friendly

to compare any team to what they were 20 years ago is stupid.

i am not comparing to a team 20 years ago.

But to think that Costa Rica is in the same league with Mexico is stupid. Costa Rica still struggles in the Gold Cup and can't afford any errors or else.. they stay home. Costa Rica shouldnt have playoff matches prior to the HEX and they shouldnt have to wait to the last match day of the CONCACAF WCQ semis (reglardless of which group you are in)

What does it say when Mexico has its worst showing and still can qualify and still advance in the group stages of the WC?

but first win a Gold Cup or 2. Qualify convincingly a couple times (without depending on the 3rd or 4th slot).
