I like the Parappa one, and the OBEY one as well. Nice job!

...which is exactly why more people should put more time into making banners that are very obviously US, rather than tangentially so. It's a nice DC banner, sure, will look great in RFK. But this ain't RFK, Gillette, the HDC. It's not so hard to incorporate your favorite player or club name into one that's US focused--multiple Rev references make it into my US ones--so why not put some effort into one that can stand for both club and country rather than just club?

I agree. And if it were my banner, I would choose to do something different. I was just trying not to discourage the guy if he wanted to bring it. Some people have real nasty attitudes in here that can turn people sour in an instant (not specifically you, but others on here)...

Oh, man, you're totally right. Too bad this one's not in my possession anymore.

Who is in charge of bringing this one?

Anybody who made, paid, designed this gem?

Yeah, and since Adidas is sponsoring the WC, you won't see that banner anywhere near the venues. :(

As long as it's remotely related to the National Team, bring it.

After a US goal though, I better see a US Flag or a "Don't Tread on Me" flag going up over Sam's Army. I also better hear you guys on TV....that way I can sing along at the Biergarten or wherever I am.

    'CZECH OUT TIME: 90 MINS'

    and

    'FORZA STATI UNITI'

and we had a good one for Ghana but I cant remember it off the top of my head.

Some great looking banners folks. A question, not related to the thread (please forgive me, just didn't want to start a new thread), but I was looking at the "who's sitting where" thread for the CR, and was wondering if anyone has an estimate of how many fans we'll have there? 8k-10k would be great, I think. Is that unrealistic? Bruce Arena said we have a lot of support going, so it has peaked my interests.

I read an article (don't remember where) that around 30,000 Americans with tickets were going to the US group matches. I expect 25% of each stadium to be Yank supporters, 25% to be our opponents, and the other 50% to be a tossup. This tossup group could cheer against, for us, or decide to sit on their hands.

He can certainly bring it, but I'm with Ultra Peanut on this one: leave the club shout-outs at home, even it's exceedingly more difficult for United supporters than other MLS clubs.

Seconded. At least have banners that are Red White and Blue if they aren't specific to USA is what I would say.

Btw, are there going to be USA flags for sale anywhere near the stadium?
