Before there was El Capitan, there was the Brimstone Cup. http://www.brimstonecup.com/ I wonder what we'll call our new rivalry that starts on August 5.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago Must.WIN!!!! My hubby gets to go to the game. C'mon FCD!!!!!!
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago We really need a win and if the last 6 seasons (minus 2005) are any indication, we should get one. Chicago is relatively weak this season and we need to play them like we did New York/New England except finish our chances. That being said, I think we'll once again struggle to score. I'll be optimistic, given our record there and our need to win... 2-1 Dallas, Ferreirra & Harris with the goals.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago Get him in contact with Parrish, Joey and Andre. They'll be in the house as well.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago This is it. This is the big one. Shitcago is ALWAYS a must win. Many of you are aware that I am not quite sold on SH as the coach. As all of you know, however, I always give credit where due. SH kept the Brimstone Cup in Dallas. Now, the Cup must be defended again. In Chicago, in front of the got change for a quarter buy one get one free crack whores who roll on down to the stadium form the projects in their shopping carts full of cans. Against those congenital criminals Shitcago trots out every year. Rivalries are recognized by the fans, not the MLS. The fans pay for the trophy, not the MLS. Rivalries are made on the field, not the highway. So, for those of you who still think that San Jose v. 1.0 is the main rival, please grow a pair of fcuking balls and taste the hatred. CHICAGO DELENDA EST! SCORCHED EARTH! SCORCHED EARTH! A motion is on the floor. Do I hear a second? Dead but dreaming, Scipio Diabolus, vox fatum. Contra. Hoppy, floppy bunnies.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago They are all big games, of course, this one is big for the following reason: When you normalize the table and look at points per game, FCD is currently 10th, 2 spots out of the playoffs, at 1.22 and Chi is 12th at 1.13. If CF wins they leapfrog over FCD to 1.33 per game and FCD is then at 1.1 per game. The games vs. teams lower in the aggregate table are very important as we need to hold serve vs. those teams and pick up some Ws vs. teams ahead of us. It has not been a good start to the season, we'd be better off with more wins and more losses, having played 9 we'd better off at 5 W and 4 Ls vs. only having 2 W, 2 L, and 5 draws. We've got to start getting 3 points at a time, not 1.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago Buzz you need to update yo shit on the brimstone website.

Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago I want you all to know, that besides being generally good, friendly and always hospitable people, that I hate every last one of you and hope your team's bus crashes between the airport and stadium and all the players, coaches, staff and everyone else suffer above the need amputations of both legs. Love Always, Mike
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago I'll pass on instructions to Parrish to get you a beer.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago I've drank that Belgian pisswater he worships, I'll pass. Besides, I'm a lot closer to you than he is to me
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago Back to work...Riverwind is short a blackjack dealer.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago Dear Mike, Remember 1] Beer is for drinking 2] Belts must remain buckled at all times 3] Taking your shirt off is a mandatory card (in your case a Red card) at least the beer we drink has an alcohol content above 3.5% Love Always, Chaz
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago That's what paleface is for. We're all in management positions. PS: Thanks to all the Baptists in Texas who keep gaming/gambling/wagering illegal down there and lining our pockets with your Grandma's social security checks.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago Then why do you keep requesting pictures to the contrary?
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago Is Heath Pearce available to play tonight? He will help but I am back to having zero confidence in this team. At best we are inconsistent and at worst we are just plain poor. We have just lost the simple ability to put the ball on frame and Lord knows when we will find it again.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago Chamo linked and article on 3rd that said SH called Pearce after the announcement and Pearce will meet the team in Chitcago.
Re: Brimstone Cup's latest installment -FCD v. Crapago Can't believe no one commented on the DMN article today. "Hyndman tries to jump-start attack". It talks about how he might switch Harris and Cunningham. He rationalizes that Harris will provide a bigger target and more physical presence. I guess he reads Big Soccer now since we talked about that last week. Keep your suggestions coming now that he is listening.
